My stay at Roxford Lodge was lovely, comfortable and enjoyable. Staff were kind and helpful, especially when guiding me to the city centre. The hotel is about a 15-20 minute walk to city centre, but Dublin was experiencing some nice weather, so a walk by the canal and through St. Stephens Green was worth the time. Breakfast was lovely and filling. Room was a little smaller than I imagined, but it was a single room, and surprisingly comfortable. If in town again, would certainly consider staying here again.

Great rooms, comfy bed, jacuzzi tub and sauna all in economy room. Bus stop right outside hotel. Convenient location for local amenities. Friendly staff. Also provide smartphone for use during stay, free of charge.

Greatest family run hotel in Dublin. Wonderful Family. Would stay hear everytime I visit. Rooms and the breakfast are honestly the best in DUBLIN. Can't recommend it enough.

My first ever Google review, it was that bad! Had to warn others. This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The bath tub had brown dirt floating in the water once I filled it. On top of the bath too was a layer of brown mould. The "jacuzzi" advertised is merely a bath tub. When asked how was my stay, the receptionist was very rude when I complained. This was made worse when the cleaning staff rang me that evening to defend their poor service. Also the breakfast is not included in the price, they won't mention this when you check in but will demand 12 euro the following morning. Overpriced and don't expect an apology for the poor quality either! If this was any other hotel, they would have at least offered a refund.

Brilliant place to stay for all occasions. Had a lovely weekend there, 3 night of comfort with great staff on hand. You have a wide range to choose from for breakfast to start your day and the chance to let off some steam with a sauna in the room, this may make the room cramped if it is you like alot of room but didn't bother me. You only have a 30 minute walk in a straight line on one road to the temple bar with plenty to see and do on the way. Highly recommend. Would stay there again.

Visited in the fall. I was immediately brought complimentary tea and biscuits. The room was very cold when I arrived, so I closed the window and turned up the heat. Then I headed out for the evening.
When I arrived back (well after dark,) the tea and biscuits were gone, the window was open again (with no screen!!!!), and the heat was turned back down. Didn't sleep a wink that night, and left at the crack of dawn.response / report this review -

Very attentive staff. Our room was very clean. The bus stop is right out the front door. Just a quick ride to downtown or a 20 min walk.

This is a hidden gem lying ideally located just outside the busy city. The exceptional quality of customer service to the cosyness of the room would be hard to beat even in the more popular higher star rated hotels in the area. Every aspect of our care needs were catered for with professional excellence and friendly staff. Free secured parking to the rear of the premises and free wifi. We will most definitly be back here without a doubt. Cant recommed it highly enough.

Great hotel just a 20 minute walk to downtown Dublin. Great friendly service. We got in slightly earlier than planned and our room was not quite ready. We were shown to a sitting room by a nice warm fire and offered tea, coffee and biscuits while our room was finished. The room was small but had everything we needed. Wish we could have stayed longer and could have tried breakfast or lunch. Prices were also substantially cheaper than staying closer to the downtown area. Would absolutely recommend this hotel.

Lovely hotel with easy access to central Dublin via a short bus ride. There are some nice restaurants near by, rooms are clean and the staff are very welcoming.
