Fun historical point to visit in Waterford. Great way to learn more about the history in Waterford. Walk down and visit my friends at the Larder for a cup of great coffee and a slice of cake

Very interesting pics of history. And there is a great very informative documentary of the history of the tower and Waterford city on the top floor.

This tower is one of the oldest landmarks in Waterford, and among the oldest Viking landmarks in Ireland. You can walk up the stone staircases - though watch your step! - and see a video presentation about the tower and Waterford on the top floor. It's worth the hike up the tower for the views of the river and for the presentation.
