Amazing place. The people are very friendly, and its clear that they all care very much about what they do. Activities are fun for kids and adults alike and honestly its one of my favourite places.

Lovely views. Didn't do the tour as we didn't have time. Nice cafe on site. Ample parking available with lovely walks

Hook Lighthouse. Beautiful spot. Nice drive from Waterford. Well worth the time. Little restaurant nearby. I had seafood pie. Back away from the crab cakes.

This is a really lovely place to visit or even stay for a night or two (you can camp near by). The light house is the main attraction as it can be seen from Waterford nearly down to parts of Cork. Just a few mile away is Slade harbor and Castle and you can walk all the way around the coast between the two. The views are stunning. The amenities at the light house are fantastic, you has a visitor center, tours, restaurant, children's play areas, toilets and parking. All along the coat there are ruins to look at and explore. This is a 5 star attraction. Enjoy

The oldest working lighthouse in the world with great views and a nice visitor centre. Where the phrase 'by Hook or by Crook' comes from. Crook is a town on the opposite side of the estuary. Great fossil hunting on the nearby rocks. Nicest visiting here during rough seas. Good place for birdwatching too.

What a beautiful place to visit! Great attraction, lovely grounds in a fantastic landscape. I didn't go up the lighthouse because I'm allergic to stairs but I totally loved the day. Great place to bring kids too, lots of green grass to run around on and plenty of picnic tables. Can't reccommend highly enough.

We brought Japanese guests on a very enjoyable visit to Hook Lighthouse. The tour was very well organised and very informative. The tour guide, Anne, was excellent and imparted the knowledge with a keen sense of humour. She was very engaging and patient with the young children, which added to the overall enjoyment of the tour. She even offered to take group photographs on the external gallery and was generous with her time and information. Would highly recommend this location for a visit and a tour.

The lighthouse is really cool with a great tour. And there's lots to do in the area. We went on a day out from Dublin but if we'd had time it would have been nicer to stay in the area for a few days.

The oldest working lighthouse in Europe, worth to spend a day walking around, taking a tour inside of the lighthouse with very friendly guide and interesting stories. Coffee shop and lovely scones. Worth to stay and see the sunset, espectacular.

Robbie the tour guide was brilliant. He spotted our youngest son had difficulties and catered for him during the entire tour without us having to say anything. Simple gestures like this mean a happy experience for families like ours and we're very grateful. We had a great day. Well done Robbie and thank you.
