Padua is more of an inn. It is clean and modern, with private bathrooms and locking doors. Breakfast was quite hearty and worth the extra payment. Getting down to the town and ferry required a car. It is a long but doable walk from the closest bus stop.

Our last place of stay and we were struck once again, by the fabulous welcome we received. The owners couldn't do enough for you. And WHAT a breakfast! Probably the best breakfast I have ever had. Thanks guys.

Very welcoming, lovely warm, friendly hosts. Breakfast is perfect, well cooked and very well presented too, everything catered for, you ask and they'll do their very best to provide. Rooms are lovely, bathrooms perfect, very comfortable.
Definitely stay here again without a doubt.

Visiting family in Cork, we wanted somewhere to stay after getting off the ferry rather than arrive late in Cork. This seemed one of the cheaper options and is a beautiful little place, right on the main road just a few minutes from the port. Nicola, one of the owners, was very welcoming, had us settled in minutes and was unobtrusively on hand to answer any questions.
Our room faced the road but you couldn't hear any traffic noise. The room had great facilities, a good shower and the usual tea and coffee making facilities. Bed was warm, comfy and a great nights sleep was had. Breakfast the following morning was very good, plenty of choice and very filling.
We'd travelled by motorcycle and whilst the main parking area was gravel, there was also a bit of hard standing that they were only too happy to let us use to park the bike.
We're booked in there the night before our return crossing too and are very much looking forward to a good nights sleep before the journey home.
Will certainly be using this again next time we come across.
