Great hotel lovely staff and great leisure facilities

REVIEW PERTAINS TO THE RESTAURANT AND BAR:
Serving staff are kind as well as active in their engagement, however, out of the 8 dishes ordered by my group, 3 starters were delivered at the wrong time, and 2 of the main courses had to be sent back multiple times due to incorrect orders being served. Once correct orders were served however, food quality was superb with high quality ingredients, as well as compensatory actions being taken by the staff.response / report this review -

Ashdown Park Hotel a fab hotel. I have been there on many occasions. Last weekend was brilliant. Music Saturday night with Donna and Mick was a great night. Definitely recommend this hotel.

How do you judge a hotel?
Simple, you judge on how your experience was from the moment you arrive in the car park. For me this hotel is one of the best. I met with the hotel manager (Paul) and was given the first class service all the way. The staff are polite, very professional, and are always willing to help.
Reason for my visit, it was my partner's birthday, I had asked them to do something for her desert when we dined in the restuarant, they didn't disappoint. The food is second to none. I would highly recommend this hotel for a stay.
Reading some of the other reviews, a lot of them are poeple who go home and write a review when they should of spoke to management before they left. I myself had a positive stay here.response / report this review -

I couldn't recommend the hotel enough. All of the staff went out of their way to help us and accommodate us in any fashion we needed. The hotel was very modern looking and beautifully furnished. The leisure centre which is open to guests is a nice size and quiet too. The breakfast and bar food are also very nice. The only downside to the stay was the windows weren't soundproofed and the curtains didn't keep the light out in the morning.

Fine hotel. Great carvey and bar menu. Gym and swimming pool. Friendly staff. Big venue for weddings. Plenty of parking

The hotel will show straight awai that is a quality place and they put price on details. Unfortunately the spa is not as expected. Went few times and always seems to be something not working. Once was the jacuzzi, another time the steam room. One star less for the spa.

Had a spa getaway with stay in the hotel there few months ago. Restaurant is fantastic, we enjoyed the food SO very much - you can feel the freshness and local ingredients they use. Spa was alright - we didn't have swimming caps, so couldn't enjoy all the facilities but still was lovely to chill in the jacuzzi :)

Life saver! If you want a fresh start of your day join the leisure club. Can't recommend anything better.
