I was disappointed when I saw the garden centre. The selection of plants and flowers was not as big as I hoped. There were plants in the outdoor space that looked pretty sad. The parking area outside is pretty small. I know of more impressive garden centres around Dublin.
Fabulous garden centre. Lovely to walk around, lovely little cafe there also with lovely little menu. The centre have an amazing range of lovely things for the home and garden. I never leave empty handed. There's a great florist there also. Staff are always exceptionally friendly and are so professional which is why we always return .
I had a very enjoyable time buying garden essentials. Everything that I was looking for was in stock. Although the car park was quite full I was surprised and delighted to find out that there was plenty of room to shop following "social distancing" rules.
Very friendly staff, huge range of stock & household products.
Seems over priced, nice vibe thought.
One of the top garden centres in Ireland with additional Services like florist, cafe and tropical fish! For November and December you have to see the Christmas shop. Great staff with very good gardening knowledge.
I love Newlands Garden Centre. The staff are so friendly and can't do enough for you. The Cafe is a great bonus with lovely food and very reasonable prices. It's so relaxing. I can't rate it highly enough.
Stood like a gobshite for fifteen minutes to ask about a bleedin fish. Asked a female employee 'is there anybody working in the pet department ' she pointed at the ceiling and said nothing whilst decorating a Xmas tree on the 14 of September. Stupid customer service and don't seem to know what season it is.never again.
Very pleased with this garden centre. I availed of their on line shopping facility and the David Austin roses purchased were swiftly dispatched. All the roses did not arrive in perfect condition but manager Michail and his excellent staff Marie and Maire dealt with the matter immediately and without quibble. Plants were replaced without murmur. Well done Newlands. You're a credit to the industry and an example to others.

*EDIT: I previously described Newlands Cross Garden Centre as"not the cheapest", however having done more research my first impressions have changed. I recently purchased a fish tank here that turned out to be €600 less than any other retailer. The staff are beyond helpful and friendly and their Loyalty Card is a great bonus.* Beautiful garden centre. Not the cheapest but you pay for what you get. Staff are nice.
Love it so so many things to see and buy staff so helpful and you can rest awhile.in cafe
Beautiful place even on a typical rainy summers day! Plants well kept, lovely displays and there is even a coffee shop. The staff know their stuff re the plants too.
The best Garden centre in South Dublin. Great choice of plants and gardening accessories. Very well organised and maintained. I've recent even noticed a small playground for kids. There is also a Caffè and they have a bonsai section.
the products this shop sell may be expensive but they are top quality and there is a lovely cafe right in the middle of the shop that have lovely cuisine
Absolute pleasure to shop here. Very helpful, polite and knowledgeable staff. I feel the better for shopping here
