Central location, no car parking on site but you can park for free at a convent/church around 1km away. We stayed in a double room which was located in a separate apartment style building just across the alley in the same complex. The room was pretty great for a hostel. Clean, spacious and modern. The kitchen facilities were good too and there is free cereal, toast and coffee for breakfast.

Rooms were clean, beds very poor. No WiFi apart from the reception area. The hostel is well located in the centre of the town close to all amenities.

The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The place was clean- staff worked overnight to maintain cleanliness.
The fresh coffee for breakfast was great - but important to keep it hot and filled up.
They have a luggage room for when visitors check out and still want to do things around town.
This is a really welcome feature.
Only one criticism is the door banging - it would be very easy to put door closers on all doors and this would make the place A1.
Overall Neptune's is good value for the €10 per night, breakfast included.
But please get a grip of the doors.

I liked this place, maybe because I was in one of these private rooms. Very modern, bed and washing room was great. Breakfast is simple but appreciated.
Staff is great and location too. I recommend.

Excellent place to stay in. Was in the new building of the hostel. Clean rooms, and even a rain shower! Breakfast are provided as well. If you would like to cook, there is a kitchen for you to do so. The staffs were really helpful. Brilliant!

Super helpful staff and great location - close to shops, pubs, restaurants, cafés, and day tour pick-up locations.

Unsurprisingly, another Irish hostel that doesn't believe in proper ventilation. Stuffy room, with nothing in it except a bed. Shared bathroom was clean but one toilet was a bit temperamental. Most annoying feature though is that the walls are so thin it feels like your neighbours are actually in your room and as soon as everyone gets up you hear all about it. Pretty much got nothing going for it except that it's in Killarney. Also far too expensive for what you get

They said free parking available and barbecue - unfortunatelly the parking is in the around area and is free on Sundays and the closest one is about 5-10 min walk. The barbecue needs to be requested before arrival and usually is for bigger group. Otherwise very nice place and very nice staff working there. There is a security also so safe place.

It's a comfortable place to hang out. The staff is helpful. Shared bathrooms are fairly private.

Great place to crash on your way through this cool town. Close to the restaurants, local pubs and nightlife. Rooms were clean and neat, little old fashioned but if you are backpacking your definitely not expecting the Hilton.Satisfying breakfast, and cooking facilities were well kept. Would definitely stay here again!

This is a true hostel experience. The rooms were very new but also very sparse. All the staff was super friendly. The only downside is that they only have wifi in the common areas and not the rooms. Great deal for the price and great location.

Booked a private room for 2, double bed. Have been in a few hostels around Ireland and this one hands down had the nicest room. It almost felt like a hotel room- just without a TV. I couldn't believe how nice it was for the price, so cheap! The kitchen and common rooms weren't as nice but for what we used them for worked good. The staff was very helpful and friendly when we asked if they had any suggestions for us. Would book again if I was in the area!

Five stars for the staff, absolutely exquisite, warm, welcoming, and more than willing to help out as best they can. Room itself (all female) was cozy, nice and warm, shower was amazing, bed was more comfortable than expected. Overall a wonderful stay, and would stay again!! Only complaint was that the wifi did not reach the room.
