  If you are in the grand canal area it is a convenient gathering location. If the weather is nice it is more joyous but during winter it is not any different than other pubs around.

  Pretty good food, great service and great views from the deck of the boat. The sign on the entrance mentions that there is a dress code but my wife and I had no trouble getting in with jeans on. I think they are trying to dissuade tourists wearing shorts and track pants.

  We ate in the bar area, which was quite noisy despite it not being very full. The food was fairly standard fare, except that I got food poisoning from the tuna steak. The next day, after I rang them to advise, they didn't have the courtesy to even return my call. I won't be darkening their doorstep again.

  In Dublin, and fancy a drink on the river? And I mean on the river. Then climb aboard the MV Cill Airne. Enjoy views of the water while you sip your drink. A short walk from the Bord Gais Theatre and 3 Arena, It's a great place to enjoy a drink after a gig. Definitely feels like you are somewhere much more exotic than Dublin. Friendly staff are the icing on the cake.

  I only had a coffee and a desert, which were good, so cannot recommend the rest of the food. But the restaurant is a boat, and you can sit outside right on the water, which is really nice on a sunny day.
  The service was great too.

  Amazing place on a sunny day! No better place, but get there early to get a seat. Such a unique setting for drinks. It feels like you're on holidays.
  
  The staff have always been so welcoming and treat you like you're onboard a 5 star yacht.
  
  The food is so tasty in the bar but if you want a different experience, the restaurant is the place to go!
  
  Love this place so much, I had to have my wedding there and it couldn't have been better. Everyone enjoyed themselves so much, the staff were incredible and the chefs did an amazing job with the food.
  
  Memories I will have forever!

  I had a very enjoyable lunch here with my girlfriend. We ordered the beef burger and chips which were delicious. Particularly the chips. They are enormous and the potato is cooked perfectly. Friendly and attentive staff, and beautiful views onlooking the river. Interior is nice, but could be so much better given how uniquely situated this restaurant is.

  Staff are great and nice venue but if there is live music in the bar avoid it at all costs. Our group had to leave last week because of it. They were shouting and had the sound system on feedback as a joke. They didn't actually play any music now that I think of it.
  
  It might have been a once off as they seemed high/drunk but a lot of people had to pack up and leave as this craic was going on for half an hour. Pity really

  Went there with friends for few drinks! Best location with beautiful night view of North wall quay and Sir John Roberson's Quay. Staff were friendly, I called them a day before to inquire if I need a reservation for drinks. They don't need reservation but lady on the phone took my name. To my surprise when we were buying the drinks barman asked me if my name is Jimit, and that was delightful moment. In addition to all of these, the view of full moon did the trick!

  We had our Christmas dinner last Friday. I was very impressed. The food was excellent, great choice on the menu the service between each course was amazing. The staff were friendly and professional. Will definitely eat there again
