This is very special 5 Star B&B. Frances Is highly regarded in many ways - but just one of the features of Lough Key House is her breakfast. In 40 years of using overnight places - we have never had as good a breakfast as we get with Frances. But it is not just the breakfast Frances has great passion for quality - this is reflected in each bedroom by custom themes for every bedroom. You will not be disappointed- but do book early!

Beautiful house in the old style tradition. Rooms extremely comfortable and luxurious. Owner so welcoming and friendly without in any way intrusive. Parking and wi-fi all on tap. No TV in the room which i love! Breakfast amazing! Will be back here in a heartbeat!

An absolute gem nestled away in beautiful Boyle. Beautiful house and gardens. The food is exceptional. Frances and her team could not do enough for us. Great service and food. We loved it.

Had an amazing stay here last April. Felt like king and Queen of the castle! Fabulous host and lovely atmosphere. The breakfast was the best I have ever been served, beautifully presented and delicious. Rooms are quirky, interesting and comfortable. Would definitely recommend!

This place is fantastic! I've stayed in many B&B's in Ireland and they could all learn a thing or two from Lough Key House. From the very start we were greeted with a very warm welcome and couldn't believe all the little touches. The breakfast was outstanding and presented beautifully. A delicious spread of fresh fruits, nuts and cereals was on hand as well as hot breakfasts. The eggs are fresh off the land and the omelette I had was delicious.
The bed was extremely comfortable, I didn't want to get out of it! I would absolutely come back and stay again, next time for a night or two extra!response / report this review -

Lovely guest house. The rooms are lovely and seems to be back to 1900 or even earlier. The host is fantastic. Awesome breakfast.

best guest house we've stayed in. so unique and such a treat . beautiful homemade bread..jam, cereal etc to enjoy by a candle lit setting and open fire. super -
