Went glamping here for 2 nights with 3 other girls.. had an absolutely brilliant time, will definitely be back again
Good for young family but be aware no child proof Garda from waters edge but not good for senor family events or hens/ stay parties great for tourists passing
Stayed here recently, great spot very friendly and suitable for family's, lovely setting. Nice restaurant with fantastic food and a nice pint of Guinness to go with it!
Our wee peace ofheaven x great wee pub n they do great food staff are polite n very well mannered n great well kept amenities
Great spot with lovely food but the lack of shops in the area made it a bit awkward so bring all of your own supplies with you. Lovely staff and very helpful!! A++++
Arrived to tent it but the weather was not in our favour. The camping area was completely water logged and there was no sign of it drying out (poor drainage) so we had to book a Glamping pod at €100 per night! I was expecting far more than what we got for our money. No key for the door, only one bulb out of 4 working, both the futon and bed were really uncomfortable with thin mattresses, the net canopy over the bed was ripped, the curtain on the door was about a metre too long and put on back to front, the decking outside was slippy and dangerous and to use the showers we still had to pay €1.50 despite the €100 a night cost, neither the showers or bathrooms were particularly clean . There was nothing glamourous about this experience. I would not recommend this camping site. Disappointed to say the least.
Really relaxed campsite of your really fussy about noise after 10 don't park near the playground/pub area. With a 5, 7 and 9 year old, we're use to noise and didn't mind
I won't come here again. There was a nice selection of spots to put your tent next to the river. The toilets weren't very clean. The cabins are tiny and not worth the money that you have to pay. They allowed dogs everywhere, even in the toilets.
Good site. Enjoyed canal walks
Fab Glamping. Local pub with delicious food on site. Great staff.
Great Glamping, very cosy pub too.
Near at hand. Good bar. Also does food. But usually closed Mon, Tues & Wed in winter. Lively at weekends and all summer.
Great place for a caravan. There is a dock for boats. A playground for kids which is near enough to a pub/Restaraunt so the kids can play while you have a quick drink. Clean facilities and fairly priced. Highly recommended.
