Ordered a caeser salad. This consists normally of chicken and bacon caeser sauce and the salad.
The salad i received was chicken and anchovies..no sauce. there was no reason given for this and worse was the anchovies were cold and unappetizing.
Croutons were stale not crisp also.
Having arrived on my lunch in a group there was no time to order another and 6months later my email has still not been responded to. In which i stated i did not want to leave this as a review instead discuss this further.
No customer care.
Will never return to this restaurant.

Pretty awful food. Bland, under-seasoned sauces yet over cooked pasta. Clearly for people who don't actually know anything about Italian food. Servers were helpful and tried hard. But other wise, just no. Blech.

Delicious! Rating this place from the table. Really enjoyed our meal. Staff were so friendly, service was prompt and couldn't fault the meal. Nice relaxed atmosphere and the chef personally checked that the food was ok. Excellent!

I have to say i was very disappointed at the weekend at my trip here. I have eaten here regularly over the last few years and it was always lovely. The food was cold and the childrens food overcooked. I told the waitress at the end when paying. Although i have to say the waitress was very good and pleasent. I don't think i will be returning here again. Also first Italian restaurant to eat in where they had awful frozen chips to serve.

Ordered a prawn cocktail it was awful. The prawns were freezer burned and the sauce was disgusting. A croistini was ordered that apparently means a slice of bread smeared in bolognese sauce with a limp half toasted piece of cheese on it. I could buy a better of bottle of wine in Lidl for under a fiver compared to the plonk they serve you here. In many restaurants that specialize in one cuisine sometimes the dishes that fall outside their circle of knowledge suffer. However this is an Italian restaurant that serves bad wine and even worse pasta outside of their pizza being incredible (noone ordered one at our table) this place is a trainwreck. We ordered a pasta primavera and a chicken pasta both came promptly but turned out to be flavorless and severely under cooked. The quality of the chicken would be what I would expect from a petrol station sandwich. Suffice to say we left without finishing and we won't be back. If you want a decent meal AVOID La Trattoria.
