Kyteler's is my "home from home". I would recommend it as a relaxing place to have a meal and to unwind after a long day. The staff are very friendly and the food is excellent. Long may it continue to serve the people of kilkenny and beyond.

Friendly service, good food, and cozy atmosphere define this fantastic pub. The fish and chips are great. Lightly breaded and not at all greasy, I thoroughly enjoyed the fish. Others in the group ordered bangers and mash, which looked like another good choice. Great visit overall and highly recommend to anyone in the area.

Awesome place. So much history and a great bar man. We showed him the American way to make the Black Velvet and he took it in stride! We all had a laugh. Food was good. Beer was better.

The real dealauthentic Irish pub with live food music. One of the best experiences we had in Ireland. Lots of shopping, pubs, castle, bridge and atmosphere nearby.

Where do I begin? We had our wedding after party here. The atmosphere is great, live music, vaulted basement where our party dined and drank for hours! The staff was so awesome taking care of us all especially Carl and Maggie! Thank you so much for an epic night, we won't forget it!!

It's a but twee. Great spot for tourists during the week with trad music and an excellent building style to convey the medieval nature of Kilkenny. A decent late option at the weekend always has live music

We had a truly wonderful evening of wonderful music and good irish pub food. After reading the reviews we were hesitant that it was geared for tourists but decided to try it anyway. We were not disappointed! The service couldn't have been better and more attentive, the food was really good, and the music was traditional and excellent. All 7 of us highly recommend this pub for a great Irish evening of food and music.

One of Ireland's oldest pubs & it lived up to the expectationset nicely in the old town of Kilkenny with so much history around..Kids loved the settings & the food. We went back again just to eat the desert (Death By Chocolate.it was Epic per our 7 year old daughter).

Definitely something for everyone here. Plenty of split level seating areas, live music, band venue and great food served. Craft beers available, pour your own beer tables, beer garden/outdoor canopy area and trade sessions all make up this unique public house. Staff will advise on beers and food, and will do so with a smile. And you must learn about poor Alice, Kyteler's own witch!
