No complaints really. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Just 4 stars as there was no residents bar and no food available when got back that evening.

Brendan was very helpful and pleasant at the front desk. The room was lovely and very clean. Unfortunately the chef needs to put a bit more passion and attention to the food before it comes out of the kitchen. Parts of the dinner was burnt and large chunks of raw onion in side salad was off putting. Mushy peas given with a starter but none with main course as should have been. Breakfast was not of great standard and staff more interested in eating there own breakfast behind counter than offering tea or coffee.

Its is fine for somewhere to rest your head breakfast was nice and staff friendly main issue's we had a friend with our party that need wheel chair access there was none on site this guy had to be put into another hotel the other side of kilkenny there was no prior communication about this issue it did put a dampner on our weekend

Truly great value hotel. Large well appointed rooms. Food choice is limited. Located just outside Kilkenny city centre (20min walk).

Alright, don't pay for the breakfast, it's the biggest let down, just not up to standard! Would have been nice to have a fridge and proper standalone shower instead of a shower/bath. You'd want a car also, but of a walk from town, taxi is only 6 quid though

Arrived at hotel for 4 days, Monday - Friday. Was very disappointed that the restaurant was closed during the week and we were unaware of this when we booked it. Breakfast was buffet, served cold, no mushrooms, tomatoes or hash browns. Bar closed until 5 o'clock in the evening. Room not properly cleaned. I think costumers should be told that the restaurant and bar are not opened during the week until 5 o'clock as it was an inconvenience to us. Would not travel back to this hotel again as we were very disappointed with what we had payed for.
