Lovely hotel, me and my partner stayed for one night and had a 3 course meal. Food was lovely and staff were very helpful and polite. The hotel room that we got was very clean and provided everything we needed for our stay. It's the little things like giving guests a bottle of water in the room and a fan that really made a difference compared to other hotels. I've stayed in 4 hotels so far in Kilkenny and this was definitely the best in regards to quality and distance from city center. I would definitely return here for my next stay.

Nice hotel, great spot close to all places of interest like Kilkenny castle and gardens and Smitwick's brewery, enjoyed my stay.

This is a nice clean hotel with two restaraunts attached. We had to climb stairs to get to our room so if you are disabled make sure you let them know. Otherwise, a lovely experience and the parking is free. Also, the Irish music that was playing in their next door bar was fantastic.

room was comfortable.great staff very helpful and friendly. great Irish breakfast and option of healthy fruit and cereals good selection.would stay again had great time at kilford arms in lovely kilkenny.

The location is great, the furniture is clean and new and the feel is that of an Irish pub. We ordered a Sirloin Steak and plenty of beer, and we were satisfied. The personal was nice and competent. I absolutely recommend the Kilford Arms.

Great location,parked car and walked everywhere.staff were lovely and very attentive,food nice and the family room we stayed in was a good size with 3 single beds and 1double,very clean! Both bars had great atmosphere and again bartenders were very good.will definitely be back and recommend this hotel!

Rooms were fine but got harassed and bullied by the doorman after coming in from a night out. I couldn't remember my room number but I gave him my name/number/ID and name it was booked under as we were a group booking. He threatened to call the police even though I did nothing wrong, was pushed into a tiny area between the two entrances to the pub and was intimidated by two of the doormen, even though I had been in 20 minutes prior to this and even gave them my room key, the man kept telling me that I wasn't staying in the hotel and he was horrendously rude and made my experience of the hotel very unpleasant.

Stayed here for a stag and this hotel is designed to cater for stag and hen parties. If you're looking for a glamorous hotel then keep looking, this hotel has the basics and no more, the rooms are clean but very basic, no carpets in the rooms just a cheap laminate timber look floor (they must have got sick of trying to get puke off the carpets) very basic on suite toilet, no bath, just toilet sink and shower, while everything is very minimal, it is clean and beds were comfy. It's cheap and central and perfect for groups who don't really give a ****, A late residents bar and big screen for the matches. Perfect for what it is but if you want glammer this is definitely not for you. It done us perfectly and for that reason 5 stars all the way.
