Great place for kids. Lots of activities. We stayed overnight in campervan. Facilities were very clean and perform was great for the kids. Also they had a great time playing crazy golf and running around outside. Felt very safe for the kids.

My family and myself have stayed twice in the past two years and last night we attended your scary maze. We love the campsite , the facilities are absolutely amazing and there’s plenty to do . Your maze was very well planned and very very scary but worth the experience. Couldn’t fault the place at all and your staff are amazing and all very helpful.

This place has non-stop farm fun for young and old. We got a great welcome and the whole place is very family oriented. You can tell how invested the whole family is in creating an enjoyable family friendly environment including engaging local schools in the rearing of chickens.

We just got back from a three night stay in the camp ground with three generations of the family. We all enjoyed checking in with the animals throughout the day at our leisure. We met goats, sheep, ducks, geese and chickens to name a few. The wobbler/toddler was most impressed with the tractor rides and hasn't stopped talking about them since (neighbours, creche and strangers alike have all heard about it). Grandad and grandma enjoyed the river walk and meeting the fishermen on the river. Mammy and daddy enjoyed the animal feeds / meet and greet morning and evening. I personally enjoyed looking at all the ingenious metal fabrications done on-site. The toy diggers in the sand pit are reputed to have survived several generations, surviving thanks to the workshop across the lane.

The campsite is well maintained with ample clean and well equipped showers and toilets. The home produce in the shop is worth the trip alone and very reasonably priced. The kids were having great fun on the playground when not on the farm or enjoying activities. Important for us the camp is well regulated for safe enjoyment by families. There is a quiet nighttime environment, no excessive speeding by cars and dogs kept on leads.

I will be returning here for the 4th year in a row next week. Can't recommend Nore Valley highly enough, there is something new every year we've been. My children are 7, 6 and 2 and every year it's been a great experience for them. They love feeding the animals and the adults in our group love it too! The baked goods and pizzas in the shop are a real treat, as is the home made jam. The children are already looking forward to the hay jump, and the adults to the archery. There's no problem getting them out of bed in the morning because they won't miss feeding the animals at 9am each day. We look forward to continuing to come here for many years to come.

Family friendly environment with quite a few amenities. Only stayed one night at a cost of €31 for a family of four. There is shower and toilet facilities available free of charge and a small shop selling a few essentials. There is also a 2k walk along the river and through a lovely scenic route. No socialising after midnight, which can be useful if you have children trying to sleep. Only drawback was that some of the facilities do not open on a Sunday which is really surprising. However I would recommend visiting as it is a great location and very peaceful.

Nore Valley is the most friendliest happiest and child friendly site we have ever camped in. We have been coming here for 17 years. Facilities are the best in Ireland and they really WANT campers. Thanks so much. Maeve

By far one of the best campsites we have camped in. Absolutely spotless clean with cleaners constantly going around making sure it's kept that way. Exceptional farm with so many beautiful animal's including an ostrich, buffalo and barn Owl to say the least. So much for the children to do that they just go play all day without any complaints. The fresh bread, pizza, tarts and scones are such a treat. We have stayed 4 times and will definitely be returning soon. Staff are fantastic with the children. All round amazing place.

Having a fantastic easter weekend in nore valley. Kids loving everything, especially the egg hunt and feeding the animals. All the lads working here are great to deal with and brilliant with the kids. Would recommend this caravan park for everyone, especially families with young kids.

Not that exciting for what you pay. Extras go karting etc should be included with entry fee

I wouldn't go anywhere else for a camping holiday in Ireland - or even for a fun day out. Nore Valley Park is in easy reach of Kilkenny city centre, while being located in an idyllic quiet valley with a lovely river walk.
Nore Valley Park is suitable for adults and children alike, there is no shortage of things to do! As well as free hot showers, delicious home-made baking, and a strict curfew on noise at night, there is a huge array of great activities.
Tractor rides, indoor maze, amazing new play park, and even crazy golf! A lot of the activities are on a timetable which makes it very easy to plan your day.
My favourite thing is bottle-feeding really cute baby lambs and goats, and getting to hold and cuddle baby rabbits and little chicks. The staff are fantastic with children - they make the whole experience so enjoyable and interactive.
They have almost every farm animal under the sun - sheep, cows, donkeys, pigs, hens, geese, ducks, turkeys - even ostriches, deer and owls!

My family really like this place, we have returned time and time again. There are lots for the kids to do, exploring the farm, feeding the little animals, and my son loves the 3d maze. There is also a lovley river walk which myself and my wife love.
