We simply cannot thank all at Hotel Kilkenny enough for the absolutely amazing experience my wife and I had at our wedding reception in April 2017. From our first contact with Hotel Kilkenny two years before our wedding, we felt so comfortable and it really felt like home. All staff were so pleasant, helpful and happy. And this continued with every single contact we had on the run up to our big day and the reception and the party the night afterwards. Mary was just exceptional and we were just so thrilled to have chosen Hotel Kilkenny for our wedding celebrations. No request was too great and all our guests commented on how delicious the meal was. We would like to say thank you to all at Hotel Kilkenny for helping to create absolutely wonderful memories for us of such a special weekend in our lives. We would have no hesitations at all in recommending hotel Kilkenny to every couple choosing a venue for their wedding celebrations. We cannot wait for our next trip there! Patrick and Elaine.

Check in was very straight forward, there was plenty of parking available in the hotel car park. Nice swimming pool and gym facilities.
Bedroom very comfortable . Breakfast was good with buffet with fresh fruit yogurts, cheese and nice selection of breads and pastries. It would recommend hotel Kilkenny as a good base for exploring the city.

Started of extremely well. Very nice check in. Where it alot went downhill is when wee went to the bar for a drink. We where greeted with a' what do you want' andre when i explained food and drink i was told i should good somewhere else as the barman wanted and easy night. This continued with insults, bad language and a resentment to making drinks for my party. We got the wrong drinks at one stage as he either didn't know what he was making or just didn't care. We had several rooms booked for several days. The room quality was fine. Breakfast has a lot to live up to. Very substandard given the price.

Great location, within walking distance to city centre and good base for exploring city and county. We travelled with our one year old daughter, her first holiday, she had a great time and all the staff were so nice to us.

Lovely hotel with fabulous pool and facilities. Great food and family friendly. 15 mins walk to the city centre. Very roomy and comfy beds.

Excellent stay Delicious food. We got a room upgrade and it was beautiful Clean and nicely decorated! The staff were very friendly and helpful! My husband and I recommend it highly!

Enjoyed our stay here. Good location (not exactly the city centre,but not a far walk) and easy to get to on the ring road. What was very impressive was,the night we stayed,despite the hotel being booked up with a large wedding,our room service breakfast order (which was mixed and not standard) was absolutely spot on-nothing missing or incorrect - and the hotel was extremely busy. Plenty of parking and a good leisure centre too. Very friendly check in and check out,again,despite being busy. Enjoyed it.

Lovely hotel and leisure facilities which proved very popular. Rooms clean and warm. Decent food and cocktail menu, although long wait during busy periods. Compensated with free drinks. Live music in bar (weds nite). Good location for the town and sights of kilkenny.
