An amazing place to have a cafe. Opportunity missed. The worst food and service I've experience in a long time. Had similar experience to one in town. I've never seen Domini in any of their branches and worry she's either not involved anymore or doesn't care. Bring packed lunch if you making trip!!

Arrived only to be told that they do not do hot food on a Monday. (For reasons unknown) No notices around to advise this was the case.
Ordered a bagel which turned out to be stale. The 'side salad' consisted of rocket lettuce covered in mustard. Very expensive for what it is.
The place itself was cold & dark with no atmosphere at all. Won't be going back.response / report this review -

Was there Wed just after midday with 4 friends. Really slow service despite the fact that the place was half empty. Had to clear our own table to seat 5. No cutlery available despite a q of people asking and waiting with our food getting increasingly colder. Had to eat our soup with plastic spoons as that was all they could offer. Coffee was served in paper cups as no actual cups were available. No crisps left to dress the sandwiches. No scones left though I would have imagined they are very much a cafe staple. The service and general management was so bad none of us would ever go back.

Gallery/museum cafe dining doesn't have to be awful. I had an overpriced, bought in, congealing cake and a cold coffee and my friend had a doughy microwaved scone in a draughty windowless basement. Grim! Who thought it was a good idea to locate the cafe in the dungeon?
They should relocate to a first floor setting with light and space and put the contract out again. There are any number of places - Fumbally, Brother Hubbard, Silk Road etc that could create a lovely space with good fresh food that people would travel to meet /eat at. It's such a pity to see a resource like this so spectacularly wasted.

Bagel + coffee is €10, coffee made clumsy in stained cup, my fridge is warmer than their interiors. Staff is very nice thou'
