Nice cafe part of Avoca shop. The food was very tasty and very nice presented. Everything tasted very nice and delicious. The portions for lunch were pretty good. The price is a bit higher than usual. The staff was very nice and the service was reasonable. Also to keep in mind they have service charge of 10% for groups more of 6 what is usual in Dublin. But all in all very nice and pleasant place.

    Group were happy.
However, it did not cater for specific needs such as a diabetic option for deserts.

Well worth stopping for, the Egg cafe at Avoca at Rathcoole does excellent food in an informal atmosphere. Breakfast runs until 11.30 or so and lunch goes to late in the day, and portions tend to be generous and beautifully presented. The dessert plate is particularly delicious, with tiny versions of about 8 of their most popular sweet offerings, but you'd be hard pushed to finish it by yourself so share with a friend if you can! Pram friendly, reasonably fast and friendly service and lots of lovely local in season extras elevate this cafe above the norm and easy access to and from the motorway make it a very handy stopping point just outside Dublin.
