Staff was amazing and the area is beautiful but the noise outside from bar and restaurants kept us awake all night.

I stayed in one of the apartments, number 8 and I was not impressed. The decor was extremely old fashioned and cheap. The apartment layout was like something from a surrealist painting. The place looked like student accommodation, cheap horrible carpets, awful second hand couches. The electric shower is in the bath and is not high enough for someone like me (6 ft 1), barely spraying low pressure water onto my neck. The alley way outside the apartments is not nice, at first it will seem like you've taken a wrong turn and you've gone somewhere you're not meant to. Doors squeaked and creaked. Check out time was 10:30 which I thought was far too early, earliest checkin was 15:00.
Mattress was comfortable.
Restaurant and bar were both really good, but you don't have to stay at the apartments to visit them.response / report this review -

This hotel is in a great location, plenty of awesome places to walk to. The room was clean and updated, and the employees at the front desk were wonderful. We would absolutely come back!

Good location. Great Tapas and Cocktail bar. Some of the hotel public areas need smartening up, but a great place to stay in central Cork.

My stay was amazing the staff were so helpful and very accommodating.Isaacs is an amazing hotel and I would only stay in this hotel when visiting cork if it wasn't available I would change my dates to when it was.

My stay was lovely, rooms are spacious and spotless and breakfast is above my hotels' standards. Views to a waterfall on your way in welcome you into what I believe is a reasonably priced hotel in prime location. Bathrooms are superb.
However, lack of car park facilities is a massive drawback I cannot get over and thus I must take a star off in what would otherwise be a 4-star review.response / report this review -

Really enjoyed our stay. Bedrooms were really nice and airy. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was good. Front of house staff were really friendly and full of useful advice. We visit cork every year and will definitely be back to stay in Isaacs
