The bar was warm and the staff were friendly and efficient. There was table service which I liked very much. The meals were plentiful and the deserts were delicious.I would eat here again and after lunch it was nice to walk in the garden. A very good experience.

Not a great hotel. In need of a revamp. Bed was comfy but small for a double bed. Bathroom was clean but again needs an upgrade.
Some of the grouting in between the tiles was black.
Had dinner in the Abbott's bar (I think that's what the name is) the first night we arrived. Food was ok but very pricey for pub grub. Breakfast was good. Good selection available. Staff are all very friendly. We booked in for a massage the following day. Marie did both me & my husband's massage. She was great. Highly recommend booking in for a treatment.

Really love this hotel. Go here every week for meetings and have stayed here when we were moving house. The best thing about this hotel is the staff. I have met most of them from regularly going in and out and can't fault any of them from management to the cleaning staff all so friendly and happy to help. Always a smile and a welcome. I have used the crèche a lot as well for my little ones which is open to locals as well as guests and Mary who runs it is just a super lovely lady. My boys love her. The food is always really good in the restaurant and waiting staff exceptional. All round highly recommend.

Cozy, comfortable, great staff, spotlessly clean with an old world type charm. Great food and very good value. Definitely will be back and worth visiting.

Enjoyed our stay immensely Stayed in the lodges. Very clean, well equipped and a lovely stroll through the beautiful gardens to the hotel. Good food. Well priced. Decent leisure centre. Really peaceful, birdsong to keep you entertained and still only a short walk to the busy town of Nenagh.

Faux gothic/medieval style building. Rooms a little bit dated and in need of some love. Generally clean and warm. Restaurant quite pricey and had a few issues with the beer there. Food is nice overall. 2 petrol stations and a Chinese within walking distance. Cheap and cheerful with a decent breakfast.

Had our wedding and Ray, Eileen and staff could not have done more for us. Took all the stress out of organising a wedding. Fabulous venue and truly delicious food.

Its very old and dated in parts. Very expensive food and drink. I mean I've bought alcohol cheaper in Dublin. The food is actually very nice which surprised me. I couldn't recommend the thai beef salad enough, it is fantastic!!
