Good historical venuehas an audio visual presentation straight from the 80s before you set offsmall gift shop with not a great deal of merchandise for tourists. Cafe was also closed for the season. The building itself it impressive in it's age and condition and there are some other ruin stones around that leaves you wondering what the significance of it was but your left wantingall in all not horrible and worth stopping by if historical venues are your thing

Loved the oratory. Dry stone construction/corbelling is like 3-dimensional puzzle construction. An incredible technique used by Western Irish for centuries. Be sure to watch the 10-minute video and use the toilets. Worth every penny.

The oratory is perfectly preserved, so is a great example of the type of architecture that also built the beehive huts. The visitor center is minimal, but has a small gift and snack shop, decent toilets, and an audio visual show about the site. Entrance in Aug 2017 was €3 per adult.

Very tricky to get to! If you are driving, I recommend getting directions from the locals instead of relying on Google Maps. We ended up going down a one way street the wrong way and entering the grounds from a service road. That being said, the building was neat and located in such a beautiful area of the Dingle Peninsula, but the visitors center could use some updating.

Be a bit careful here, go in the car park and you get charged an entry fee, park a few hundred yards along the road and there is a footpath with free entry?.
