Great boat trip, excellent views and pilot gave some great background stories to the sights, he even allowed a young girl to pilot boat for a short while, made her day :)

We did this as a part of an organised coach trip. We traveled to the lake by jaunty car - which is an absolute must - which dropped us off at the stunning Ross Castle which we had to walk through to get to the boat. I've been on a few boat trips on lakes and I can honestly say this was one of the best. Possibly because the boat was covered in by glass so you could see all around, it was tranquil and the guide gave a very interesting and informative talk about the area surrounding the lakes. Well worth a trip!
