Very expensive for a two night stay in November 14th 16th €146 +10 euros for breakfast no late bar , night porter said no bar .foreigner just could not be arsed .
Dear Bray Chess Club, please do the other teams in the Armstrong League a favor and switch your home game venue to a more welcoming place. No need to have a sea view. People who are neither Bray locals nor overnight guests - so the away team - are treated like garbage here. Even 1 star is too much. Beer prices are fair though, one of the lowest I have seen in the Dublin area.
We had a really enjoyable and comfortable stay here. Granted, there are a few signs of wear in this grand and characterterful hotel, but they're insignificant. Our room was clean and had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable with good-quality sheets and the bathroom was clean with plenty of hot water and fluffy towels. Breakfast was generous. The location is superb.
This place needs to be updated so badly. The staff are not friendly at all. The location is perfect and the town is wonderful.
Small stuffy room, stains on the carpet, large dead spiders in the bathroom, large whole in the sink. Very disappointed.
Its ok staff very mixed some helpful some not late bar .waiting. tv in room out dated. .. .but nice clean averaged hotel a little over priced. Maybw just the weekend that is in it. Bur will be watching prices
Great view on the strand/beach from our room, basic but comfortable accommodation. Could improve the looks and quality (of bedding, drapes, TV, furniture, breakfast room). Friendly staff
This hotel is beautifully situated but in need of refurbishment. The televisions are cathode ray tubes! In my room the bathroom extractor fan did not work and the soap dispenser fell off the wall. The wallpaper was peeling. One of the bedside lamps seemed to have a one watt lightbulb in it. The numbering system for the rooms is hilarious - room 614 is on the fourth floor. There is no 6th floor.
Great hotel lovely sea views
It was pretty good. The room w as nice the only real problem was the Wi-Fi was terrible.
Amazing hotel situated right on the seafront
Rooms weren't tidy. Heating broken. Helpfull staff. The new room had a broken vent. The window couldn't be closed properly. Stains everywhere. The tv was tiny and only 3 programmes did work ok. Remote was broken. The only good thing was the nice and helpful staff. A shame that they have to work there
Nice hotel in Bray just in front of sea. About 30 min train to Dublin city center.
Very good customer service. Staff pleasant, polite and knowledgeable as well as professional. Bed was super comfortable and basic needs were met. Staff very friendly towards my elderly relative even when she was confused and struggling.
