A fantastic piece of history and the nicest group of people you will ever meet. A must visit if you are in Dublin and have a chance
Very interesting visit. Well laid out with lots of easy to digest information. The shows are great with very good staff interaction.
Few remaining old public observatories. Look out for open evenings where public talks are given (by both professional and amateur astronomers), tours of the night sky with Victorian telescope and you're given a chance to see the old building.
Fantastic place
Had a great experience here. Would totally recommend it. Lots of volunteers bring their own telescopes so you can view the stars.
Interesting history surrounding the building and installation of the observatory. The evening was too bright to get to see anything in the sky, but I had a chance to see prominence from the sun in real time which was incredible. Will visit again in the winter when the sky is darker.
Fantastic experience, loved it. Observed planets and stars.
Visited here on Culture Night and was treated to an extremely interesting and enjoyable talk by one of the staff. An amazing location that I had known nothing about.
Awesome place for all cosmic geeks of any age.
Brough my 2 sons and they couldn't believe it. My dad took me years ago and I still remember it a great experience. Makes u think about wats out there x
