Very nice, friendly staff, super view of the island, close short walk to everything. Good drink n food selection.

Upon arriving at the hotel we were very happily greeted by Caren Fitzgerald and from that moment on our experience was amazing. We had come to Dingle to run the Half Marathon (which was amazing too but that is another set of stories!) and had chosen this hotel due to its high reviews and awesome views. We were not disappointed.
Throughout our stay all the staff was very friendly and helpful, answering any and all questions and even providing personal recommendations on places to go and things to do (this is where Caren was also incredibly helpful). Dingle isn't a huge town but there are many, many options and having the staff steer us certainly elevated our overall experience.
For those runners out there the Dingle Marathon is a must. It is rated one of the top 52 runs in the world and the half has been ranked the best in the world for 2 years running. It isn't a simple run that is for sure but the views are spectacular and so are the people; those who run it, manage it and most importantly, those that volunteered to come out and help cheer people on and manage the food and water stops along the way. Even though the rain and wind was higher than normal the people (and the costumed mascots) made it so much fun. Further, in testament to the amazing strength of the Irish people (I am assuming they were Irish) a large number of the runners ran with only tank tops and shorts and some no shirts at all! And even with the weather being as it was, smiles were still everywhere!
After the run I partaked in a great massage administered by Sinead in their Spa. Just amazing and made me feel a hundred times better than I would have had I not done this. Incredible experience here too.
Another part of the adventure, every night we retired to their onsite bar and enjoyed some great Irish whiskies and even spent one evening with a live band that also included some Spanish guests that engaged in active dancing and singing as well. They were very good. :) An absolute great time.
So, if you do get the good fortune to spend some time in Dingle at this hotel make sure you ask the staff about the great places to go as we never went wrong in the many places we went over the 4 or so days we spent here.! And of you do go, please tell Caren we said hi! And thanks! :)

A place to stay, but lacks the charm and quality of better smaller bed and breakfast type stays. Food was ok. View was good. I'd look out for smaller places 😊

On a fine sunny day, the Coastguard Restaurant is probably one of the nicest places in Ireland to enjoy a meal. The views on a fine day from the Restaurant and surrounds are simply stunning, and the food is right up their too. Lovely attentive staff, nothing is too much trouble here, and the Hotel is extremely child friendly and helpful. The Dingle Skellig is one of our favorite hotels, you know its good, when the staff recognise you, even though you are keeping to yourself and savoring the experience.! It's a bit pricey, but if you get a good overnight rate, Simply GO for it! You won't be disappointed

Best hotel for a wedding reception! No request was refused, and help given in every corner, for all of the guests. Well done to all the staff, and as for the food..fantastic, fresh and plenty of it! Set in a heavenly setting, photos came out brilliant. Thank you so much and I hope you all have a very HAPPY CHRISTMAS!
