Calamari starter excellent. Steak was well cooked but the t-bone was smaller than I was expecting (22oz). Fillet steak nice.

Booked Darwin's for a meal with family following our son's graduation last Friday. We had eaten here before and were delighted that the standards were as good as ever. Great service, great food and comfortable surroundings. Very impressed with front of house greeting on arrival and exit. Hope to be back again very soon.

Very good meat, would recommend the filet! One of the few places in Dublin where they know how to cook a steak (meaning that rare is rare not medium rare ^^). Service was impeccable, lovely evening!

So disappointed.
Our main travelled to two different tables before it landed on our table. If that is not enough the plates were messed up, when they were placed in front of us (well done).
I took only two bites of my Premium File Steak and left the rest. The meat was extremely CHEWY. Love steaks, but this was not eatable nor enjoyable. At no point during our meal a waiter check if everything was ok. I did mention about my experience, when they cleared the plates away as they have asked, but nothing happened until we went to pay the bill. Only then I was told that they have taken off my main of the bill. Again, well done for carrying, not!
No service at all apart from taking the order. I was expecting so much more for the money.
Will not be back.

The best restaurant I have ever been in and that is saying a lot seeing as I am in different establishments every day as a driver/guide in the tourist industry.

The staff are exceptional, the food is Devine.
Their own in house butcher where in the world would you get that.
A family run business by mother and daughter Dolores & Amy.
Specialises in excellent Vegetarian food.

When you are in Dublin be it on business or vacation you can not leave without visiting Darwins.

When you go back a second time and it is better than the first then you know you are on to a winner. You have to visit Darwin's.

There's a reason that this place is touted as having one of the best steaks in Dublin.

Delicious cuts, well seasoned and perfectly cooked. Had the 20oz ribeye on the bone; it was perfectly balanced between firm, flavoursome flesh and melt-in-your-mouth marbling.

My date had their lamb rack, which was equally well prepared and had an absolutely gorgeous flavour.

Plenty of seafood and veggie options exist. They look great on paper but my only problem is that I can't get past the steaks!

The staff treated us exceptionally well, we were left wanting for nothing.

Overall it was a lovely evening; been to this place a few times over the years and it's wonderful to see them maintaining the high level of quality and service that sets them apart from the rest.

good food but honestly not as good as some of the meals we had at pubs. the atmosphere was nice but did not offset the price. the steaks were ok but not great, same with the seafood.

So fab! The staff were very attentive and the food was incredible! I had the fillet steak and it was cooked to perfection! Absolutely fab! The decor wasnt to my liking but everything else was fab 😍😘

Food is ok but not great at all and the service was not. Feel like they want you out to free the table asap. Not nice. Opened 2 bottles of wine without asking you to test it first and felt annoyed every time you ask them something.

Very nice, quiet and very friendly staff. The food was nicely presented and was amazing! The prices are probably on the higher side but everything we ordered was well worth it.
