Place was dated, looked dull and fur future was older than me by the look of it. Cracked tiles in the bathroom.

Overnight stay on room 403. Super room. Service from staff on restaurant, Bar and breakfast top notch. Highly recommended.

Can't speak for the restaurant or hotel rooms, but the weekend Carvery is the tastiest and best value in North Dublin. Staff are great too - especially the jolly giant Scottish chef.

Stayed from 12/08/17-16/08/17. Location of hotel in Balbriggan is good with train station and bus stop close by which go straight into Dublin centre.
Check in was straightforward and receptionists were pleasant and informative when asked questions.
Positives of room (506): spacious in size and storage capacity (although more hangers needed), ironing facilities, bath and shower, tea/coffee available, toiletries available, good views, comfortable bed once sheets were replaced.
Negatives: bed sheet was stained (and too tired to sort this on first night so simply used a towel to cover area), hairs in bathtub, carpet very worn in areas (always wear slippers). Those were the main points, others not worth mentioning.
Breakfast foods were tasty. Cereals, fruit, yogurt or warm option available. Hotel was not busy so there was always enough seating. Service staff at breakfast were courteous in greeting and quick to clean tables.
Overall this is one of the nicer hotels I've stayed in compared to others. Thank you to all staff who made our stay in Ireland a good experience.response / report this review -

Hotel situated in a great location, only minutes from the beach and train station giving a direct link to Dublin city. A decent selection of bars and restaurants in the area if the hotel one isn't enough. Go for one of the suites if the budget allows

The city this hotel is in has seen better days, but the hotel is magnificent. It has a great breakfast and good restaurant, and is a bright spot. It is close to the harbor and the beach, where it is nice walking around, and has reasonable internet. The bed is good.
Expedia has this hotel listed as 'close to the airport' which it isn't, and it has it listed as part of Dublin, which it isn't. However, there are reasonable transportation options (bus, train) so if you're not in a hurry it is a good place to stay.response / report this review -

Fantastic hotel in the middle charming small town. Free parking in basement. Great view of beach from hotel room. Elegant wood furniture. Beautiful dining hall. Very friendly staff. Great cook. Wonderful Irish breakfast!

We've stayed here twice in a family room. Have to say it's fantastic. Loads of room for 2 adults and 4 kids. The breakfast is great. Cereals, yogurts, juices, tea and coffee and a cooked breakfast.
Staff are wonderful and great with the kids.
