Come for appointment 15 min before. Had to wait around hour for doctor to call me.

Experienced the Blackrock Clinic about a year ago when my partner was taken seriously ill and I took him to their really efficient Emergency Dept, from where he was admitted under the excellent and gentle care of Prof. Mark Laher. From their top consultants, right through medical, nursing, management, counselling, admin, catering and cleaning staff his 7 week stay could not have been made less stressful for us both. Their ethos even follows through to parking charges which are capped at € 30 per week no matter how many visits you make.

Went in for Lasik surgery in late December 2017 and I could not recommend it enough I just don't know why I didn't do it any sooner. Was looked after by Dr. Kathryn McCreery and her team who provided me with excellent care and had me amazed at how quickly and pain free the whole procedure was and how I could see perfectly after a week when I previously needed glasses to drive or contact lenses to play football. By far the best place to do it in Ireland as well didn't want to take a chance with my eyes and I feel extremely reassured in that decision with vision better than 20/20!

My mother Alice and I visited the Blackrock clinic today. We were extremely pleased with the warm welcome and professional service that we got from all medical and ancillary staff. A pleasant receptionist first offered to wheel my elderly mum to the emergency department while I parked my car. The receptionists in the emergency department were friendly, also. Eric, a pleasant male nurse, checked my mum in a very professional manner before handing us over to Mr Hassan, a consultant. He was efficient yet pleasant and caring despite being very busy. My mum was taken for an x ray and was well cared for by the radiology department. Her x ray results were analysed and discussed with us, by Mr Hassan, within an hour of her visit to radiology. Feeling happy and relieved, we decided to visit the restaurant for a tasty lunch which was most enjoyable. Many other Blackrock Clinic personnel offered 'directional' advice along the corridors and could not have been more pleasant. I highly recommend The ' Blackrock Clinic' experience and my mum is very happy with how she was treated. Thank you.

Great facilities and all staff are friendly and on time with medication etc, bonuses include free WiFi and a huge selection of food for all meals including snacks in between meals. Staff are also on hand all the time to help with pain meds etc.

I had a wonderful experience in this hospital. Surgeon and nursing staff were second to none. Wonderful group of people admin staff included. Highly recommed this facility.

Great hospital! Their private rooms are really well maintained with high tech equipment and the food is really good (considering it is a hospital).
If I get sick again, the Blackrock Clinic will be my first option.response / report this review
