Like other people mentioned the rooms are dated but large. If you are large, the toilet is going to be difficult. Ample parking, stellar location. Did bed and breakfast, good morning coffee, breakfast was good. ( Android Pay = Yes)

Great value for money. Excellent facilities.
Right on the water with fantastic views.
Some parts of the hotel could do with refurbishment.

Very poor service. Staff were very laid back and switch off. Food for the price very poor. Room all right but we booked for a family of four and only had two beds??? Witch took a while to get sorted. Not my idea off a 4 star hotel. Was so looking forward to a break in Donegal this hotel done no favourites for Donegal tourism.

Overall a good hotel. Room and hotel decor are a bit of a throw back, but in a pleasant way. Lots of families, so not a quiet retreat. Excellent views, but a bit of a walk to get down town. Finner was good, just a long wait.

The gn hotel was a blast from the past, very quaint decor. Lovely views over the golf course. A little confusing about getting to the rooms. It took a long time for our tour group to get our food but it was good. A long walk to explore downtown. Seems like a great place for families, but not for those who want peace and quiet.

A large rambling hotel which seems to have a symbiotic relationship with Budoran Golf Club. Golfers use the hotel, Hotel guests use the golf course.
Staff are friendly. The rooms are adequate and clean, nothing special.
There is a large dining room with the usual hotel type menu. The food is quite good but what I would call plain. Bar food is also available.
The hotel is nicely situated a few minutes walk away from the town.

On our way home from a one night stay here with our 2 year old daughter. Pictures advertised are very misleading as the rooms in the pictures looked modern and that is not what we got. The whole hotel is very rundown. The entrance hall is the first thing you see and it smelt old and musty. Felt like I'd stepped back in time about 50 years. The pool was cold so we couldn't stay too long as our daughter was freezing and the towels provided were old orange coloured with bleach stains and holes in them. The lobby and bar etc were OK but again could do with a little refurbishing. The remote for the TV was grubby I actually had to clean it with a wipe before I could use it, and then there was about 3 channels to watch with very poor signal. Wifi only available in common areas and not in the rooms. The curtains in our room had holes and the room in general was just shabby. This place has so much potential if it was refurbished and modernised. Staff were friendly and welcoming but I'm afraid we won't be making another visit.
Perfect for the older couple but not for young couples/families.
