They have big room with javanese style, very tradisional and authentic. But Tembi is so far from the centre city of Jogjakarta. There was no television in the room, and wifi was so week. We can see the ricefield close to hotel, it's very beautiful. Very kindness staff served breakfast with javanese style ( with rice ) for everyday, no western breakfast at all. For us, it was so hardly to took rice breakfast everyday. The small pool in backside is allowed for public, so the visiter were very crowded and very noisy.

Great escape from crowds in city of Yogjakarta. Great concept of accommodation and alternative to have cozy meeting in Yogyakarta. Get the energy from nature. The view was great.

It was my first time came to this place.It was so much fun! located 30 minutes from Prambanan,this place is great place to be spent with family!

This place emphasize on Natural Tourism Attractions with BEAUTIFUL TRADITIONAL HOMESTAY ans Cottages! Surprisingly, the price is SO AFFORDABLE! even our president once stayed at this hotel and ony 700K per night (its a House, not a room) Kidding right!!!!

The homestay officers offered us to play Catch a Duck on the field :) It was so much fun

An accommodation with traditional Javanese style lodges. It is located conveniently just few miles from city center. The accommodation has sufficient facilities to suit holiday maker and business traveller needs. Swimming pools with.natural stones and stunning view of padi terrace helps anyone to relax well. The restaurant csters visitors with traditional Javanese foods and drinks. No tv no radio, really quiet. You may spare times to visit small museum in the location.

If you like traditional atmosphere, peace and quiet environment, this might be perfect for you. The bungalow takes on javanese houses, wooden floor and wall, outdoor bathroom, no tv in the room.

Rice field and mount merapi scenery at the backyard. Perfect for quiet getaway.

Feele like home ❤ all with gamelan and angkringan. Most especially, watching classical music performance can be another experience in Tembi. You enjoy the performance more but people are usually know how to behave in a classical performance in a smaller setting like Tembi. It gets you feeling closer to the performers as well and it helps promote the audience's love for classical music and enthusiasm to learn the instruments. Just my two cents

Unique hotel with nice traditional atmosphere, swimming pool with beautiful view. Its restaurant serves authentic javanese menu with good price.
This place also has museum, art gallery, and amphiteater for free art performances.

Nice view
Friendly staff
Extra ordinary service from everyone
Best bang for bucks ever!
3 times delicious meals in one day

Cons:
- need more staff.

9/10 will spend holiday when i visit Yogyakarta again.

i feel lucky when my friends invite me to see his art performance here at the night with a full moon upon us there is a open stage at the backyard which can be used for any purposes,,, they also have rooms to stay well, dont forget to visit their mini museum about javanese culture along the way to the open stage

This place is good for arts exhibition and performamce, they have a gallery with vintage bicycle and motorcycle collection from 50s. Besides the gallery also a resort with Javanese authentic design. Facilities including a resto and swimming pool.
