It is great place for playing golf only. Unlimited play can challenge more than 36 holes a day. Very kind staff and caddy, beautiful golf course. Immigration and customs check in SG takes time. Some one feels motion sickness on ferry. I want to visit again.

Please try Ocean course. Holes from 8th to 10th are unbelievable. Please take photos for your life.

Played 18 holes on Saturday, friendly staff, our caddie had a good knowledge of the course, fairways magnificent , also surrounds, however did not enjoy the greens. (Had just been cored due to heavy rain).

The greens were all under repair. Full of sand. So which ever way you putt, the ball never goes where it's suppose to go due to the excess amount of sand.

Good courses, but there were a few holes on the Ocean Course whose greens were balding and not very green at all. One caddy provided for 2 players, which is less than what you get on courses in Batam. Food is decent. Rooms are clean and spacious.

Returning to Ria Bintan for the third time to play the renovated Ocean Blue course is pleasurably familiar.
 Picturesque Hole 8 dog legs left, opening to vistas of the South China Sea as you take your second shot on the downward sloping fairway to the green.
 The challenging signature Hole 9 has only a hankerchief-size fairway for those who can't reach the green. Landing your ball on either of them requires your tee shot to clear boulders rising up from the sea. If that is not enough to frustrate you, there are three bunkers in front, left and right of the green to trap even the slightest of wayward shots.
 Course conditions are excellent. Despite an unwelcomed rain stoppage, the fairways drained well and the greens stayed true to the stated green speed.
 For the uninitiated, Ria in the local Indonesian language means merry or jolly. A feeling any golfer is sure to leave with, no matter what his scorcard shows.response / report this review -

Pantas saja tempat bermain golf ini disukai oleh pegolf Singapore dan Malaysia, selain harga yang relatif murah di weekdays kualitas rumput dan green yang tersedia pun kualitasnya memiliki standard yang tinggi

I was fortunate to live in Singapore for 5 1/2 years and a member at Ria Bintan for 4 1/2 of that. Without question my favorite golf course I've ever played including many of the most well known in the world. 5 holes could be the signature hole for any course around the globe. It is worth every minute of the ferry ride from Singapore and the room rates make the experience affordable too!!! Rick

We played this course in 2009, while living in Singapore. I have played many beautiful courses in the world, but this remains my favorite of all time. The coastal holes are surrounded by the most idyllic ocean beaches I've seen, sadly with no-one enjoying them. We played on our last day on the island otherwise I would have come back for a late afternoon swim. The monkeys on the edges of the course made for an interesting distraction, despite trying to steal my camera. The caddies were friendly and hard working and the staff were also very helpful. I know they played an Asian Tour tournament here, and I can see why the pro's would love to visit. I hope it has remained the same after all these years and hope to return some day.
