This hotel has the most lovely location with a gorgeous private beach. The service is wonderful, although the property is a little run down, and the food is not fabulous. Still, a lovely base for exploring the beautiful south of Lombok.

I woukd think this is the best hotel in Lombok The room is well designed, the internet is fast, the beach is clean. But I kinda dislike the food I would think that the cook should learn more about cooking

Excellent resort on the north of Lombok Island. My first time here was 17 years ago and they were the only resort hotel within several kilometres around. I've been here a couple more times since then. The property is well maintained all this time.

Now this resort's neighborhood is bustling with development of several well known hotel chains. So before all those hotels finished, the only convenient and available restaurant to eat is in this Novotel. Fortunately they improved alot of their menu variety as well as the taste.

They have pretty beach and the grain sands made you feel like walking on pepper piles (literally the sand particles look like miniaturize raw pepper).
Next to the beach were several hills available for a short hiking and higher lookout around the ocean.

Although the resort is in need of an upgrade, the room was clean and had all we needed.

I believe that work on the remodeling will start when The Pulman Resort next door is completed.

The best part (apart from the food) was the staff. The manager, Jan, took time to interact and organise activities and nothing was too much trouble.

All the staff, from garden maintenance to chefs were fantastic. The beach, bar and restaurant staff were superb. They all enjoyed interacting and their friendly disposition was something to remember.

World tour stop-over at Novotel Lombok
It is a rare pearl on a beautiful beach where the splendid villas respect the Indonesian tradition and the surrounding nature. The hospitality is warm with a very kind and cordial staff.
The villa, with a shared with 4 other villas swimming pool, is very elegant and with all conceivable comforts -even the coffee machine so important for us italians with a choice of multiple tastings. We were welcomed by drinks, fruits and sweets on the villa’s private terrace. We felt like kings!!!! Thank you Novotel!!!
In the evening you can dine with an abundance of excellent food from a traditional barbecue at a fixed price. We also enjoyed the evening livened up by a great show of local dances.
The beach is very beautiful,There is also a beautiful swimming pool by the beach besides the other one shared by the five villas. It is marvellous!!!!It has elegance with the local touch and style. It is the place where you can take a few days break and be cuddled.

Superb place to relaxing your mind and soul. Good vibes. You must walk on the corner of hotel you will find a hill with beautiful views and historic statue about Mandalika Princess. Ah the beach also at the point. You can also feel the sunrise at its best. All thumb are on top! 👍👍👍👍

We were very disappointed with our stay at Novotel. It was basically an average hotel at a luxury price. The room was ok, but everything else was quite bad. The restaurant had bad food and was expensive. The water in the pool seemed dirty. The beach is nice, but when the tide is low you can't even go in the water. Besides there are many abandoned dogs roaming around, which is not nice when you go out for a walk.

While the hotel is quite nice, I was very disturbed to see the hotel was using bulls to perform ridiculous and unnecessary tasks under very hot conditions. You don't a bull under the ray of the sun all day to make the sand look pretty. Please stop this cruel practice.

Great property. Private beach, restaurant and pools overlooking the beach. We had a room in the building, not the villa. It was spacious for me and my two kids. Also it was spotless. The kids enjoy movie on the beach, play park and the swing.The welcome drink was exceptional, shaved ice with lime syrup and mint leave. Love it!

Although the beach is nice but the road leads to the hotel is not adequately paved yet. Services like massage is also very expensive. Perhaps when Mandalika is fully operated, then it will be worth while to revisit

Very nice private beach, staff amazingly helpful, many options for activities.
Comfortable rooms, good swimming pools, restaurant and bar facing the wonderful sea view when you also enjoy the refreshing breeze.
We spent 7 days here and did not feel like going anywhere else just laying at the beach, reading, swimming, coconut water, beers, just rise your hand it all comes to you

Well forget the fitness center (terrible) and keep expectations at reasonable level for food and snack options but you will find something enjoyable, for sure.

If you are looking for some relaxing days at a nice beach hotel you certainly should consider this one.

Novotel it is one of five star one hotel located on south Lombok. The hotel is very close from Lombok International Airport, only 20 minute drive by car. From central kuta beach Lombok only 5 minute by car. The road access was very easy to find just follow the big road or activated you'rs google map and follow the direction, with international standard service, unique building and spectacular white sandy beachfront made this hotel worth to stay during you'rs vacation in Lombok island. For people who love wake up in the morning, Novotel will pamper theirs customer have breakfast on the hill of Seger beach, to join in these program you have to confirm 1 days before to hotel management in order they listing and arrange the car at the day. During midnight for people who stay in these hotel, it is better do not go away from the hotel. But if you wish to have dinner in central of Kuta Lombok, it better for ride scooter or by car to hang out round kuta lombok.

We played a drone for an half hour at first and someone not coming to us and say that drone cannot be used here

and then, we back to record for my newest music video clip and someone called us and said that DRONE CANNOT BE USED HERE

Such a fucked staff. Sorry, i will not recommend anyone who likes drone and played it at Novotel Lombok to stay here.

Hotel:
Cleanliness needs improvement, room furniture dusty in corners.
Breakfast food is OK.
Private beach is clean and peaceful.
Fitness center and games (pool table & equipment, foosball) urgently needs maintenance, some equipments are unusable.

Location:
Rather isolated and there's hardly any public transport, renting a car or motorbike would be convenient.

Big hotel with nice and clean facilities. It has its own beach but also a swimming pool that is open until 11pm.
You can rent a scooter there and explore Kuta, the amazing beaches of the area and a lot of restaurants. Food of the restaurant is just OK in my opinion. Not bad, but nothing that really stands out.
We (and a lot of other guests) had problems with the check in as the rooms were not ready in time. The staff was always very kind and offered some compensation for those problems. We also did an upgrade to a villa for our second night and had problems again changing the room, as it was not ready at the check-in time. And again we received apologies and a compensation. I understand these things happen and they were able to solve the problem, but if they want to improve they should prevent these situations which looked to me are happening too often.
Apart from that, there are a lot of free activities and the private pool villas are very nice and not super expensive.
All in all a very good hotel to spend a few days in Kuta, specially if you're travelling with kids.

Magical place, gorgeous beach, pool and gardens. Lots of activities for kids ages 7+ and free kids club, very basic tho. More for the babies. Movies every night. Happy hour super cheap every day from your daybed! Restaurant was average, super cheap so no need for the All You Can Eat deal. Plus lots of restaurants only a 5min scooter away. Can hire from the resort.
Lombok is so quiet and different to Bali and the people are friendly and never want much money for their friendship bands or sarongs!

Huge area outdoor and beach.. great family connecting rooms.. feels like in a themed park because of the architecture. Lots of breakfast choices but the buffet staffs are not so proactive in helping guests.

this is my 3rd time back to Novotel Lombok now more easier only 30 minutes from Lombok international Airport. nice n quite place to enjoy the private beach..
good for honeymooners n family to relax n enjoy. they have special kind of sand that you can not find in other beach.. pepper like sand beach
