  My first time tried Mie Ongklok. Not disappointed but I still believe there's always room for improvements. ;) The noodle is served with a rather sweet thick sauce. Cabbage and chives are presented in the sauce. Satay is a must to accompany your Mie Ongklok experience. I tried the tempe kemul also, it was delicious.

  Lokasinya lumayan deket dari alun-alun wonosobo. Pernasaran karena katanya ini mie ongklok terenak di wonosobo pas nyobain pertama kali agak kaget karena tekstur mienya seperti mie aceh tapi mentah, kuahnya juga sangat kental dan cenderung manis. Lalu saya pesen sate sapinya, sate sapinya rasanya lumayan tapi juga dominan manis seperti sate daging semur. Tempatnya kecil agak nyempil kedalam, pelayannya kurang sigap, pas pesen nasi katanya sudah habis. Akhirnya saya beli di warung sebelahnya.

  It’s strongly recommended as a welcoming meal at Wonosobo. The noodle known as ‘Mi Ongklok’ is very special with thick gravy, served with chinese chive. Love it. The satay are also good. Did try the lamb and beef one. One more thing that you should never hesitate to try is the fried ‘tempe’ (fermented soya bean), which in local they call it ‘Tempe Kemul’ (blanketed tempe 😆). Outside crispy but soft inside with nice aroma of tempe. Love it.
  Anyway the white fritter is not my thing. They call it ‘Geblek’, it’s fried tapioca. It rather tough n chewy n tasteless😔

  Mie ongklok rasanya agak manis, tp kami sekeluarga suka. Sate ayam dan sate sapinya ga ada lemak. Sangat direkomendasikan. Harga sate ayam 1 porsi Rp15.000, sate sapi per porsi Rp23.000. Mie Ongklok Rp9.000.

  Saat pertama aku makan Mie ongklok itu di Jln Sindoro (terbiasa orang asli wonosobo bilang Longkrang) Kini Mereka buka baru di Jln. Masjiid II. sama enaknya sama rameenya. Persis sebelah Majiid.
