Ibis padang is one of best hotel in padang, staff always help us well, many variant of food at sky lounge restaurant,room is clean and tidy, will come back again to ibis padang..

Kira-kira awal april saya menginap di IBIS HOTEL PADANG, Saya membeli tiket di sebuah travel agent langganan saya, harga yang saya dapat cukup bersahabat, sekitar 650 Ribu Untuk Kamar Bertipe Deluxe with Ocean View tanpa sarapan pagi.
Sekitar jam 3 sore saya check in, melakukan deposit sebesar Rp. 200.000 dan mendapatkan kamar di Lantai 9. Sangat gembira rasanya, mengingat ini pertama kali saya menginap di Kamar Bertipe Deluxe di IBIS HOTEL PADANG.
Tidak panjang cerita saya langsung menuju kamar, dan yang terjadi saya sungguh kecewa, saya mendapat kamar yang berukuran kira-kira 18 meter persegi, tidak berbeda dengan kamar bertipe superior yang dulu pernah saya coba. Kamar yang sangat kecil menurut saya. Dan anehnya ada pintu yang menghubungan kamar saya dengan kamar sebelaah, kok lucu yaa?
Saya bisa dengar orang sebelah ngomong apa gara2 itu pintu

Tapi kekecewaan saya lumayan terobati dengan pemandangan yang indah disore hari, ya walaupun jendelanya cukup kecil, tapi lumayanlah.

Kesimpulan:
Bagi sobat yang memang menginginkan suasana kamar yang indah untuk menginap, saya kurang rekomendasikan, jika ingin pemandangan dan suasana makan di skyline, silahkan langsung di book.

Saran:
Untuk pihak IBIS HOTEL PADANG, hendaknya melakukan pembaruan informasi di situs situs seperti traveloka, sehingga tamu tidak merasa terjebak dengan tawaran dari hotel.

The hotel room are really small and bathroom its like unique, its like entering a small private elevator. "Dont push the button if you dont wanna stranded in the lobby.." (its a joke). They said they have swimming pool and fitness center. But when i staying there, none of this facility exist. So dissapointed. If not ready then why you put the sign on..? The lobby are wide and huge. Enough for at least 50 people waiting.
Overall. i think.. ill give 3 stars and 65 point give it or take .

Best service from a budget hotel is unexpected! My children love to stay here. Small swimming pool is also available for kids to play. I stayed here for two nights and slept comfortably on the bed. Although the room is small, but it is clean, newly furnished, and comfortable. I will be back to this hotel!

strategic location for business trip. you can see the ocean, the mountain and the new grand mosque from the rooftop. superb view. the minus is only for its ventilation system on the non-smoking 3rd floor - you can smell smoke from the smoking floor

Hotel is modern and clean with comfortable beds. It has a modular structure to it - think of a hotel that was owned by IKEA and that will give you a good idea of Ibis in Padang. The restaurant had good food and is open 24 hours, but a soloist was singing the night we were there and it was tray too loud. Outside patio is nice if you don’t mind cigarette smoke. Lame thing: when we sat down waitress slapped down one menu on the table in front of my girlfriend and completely ignored me. We laughed so hard.

Breakfast is very Indonesian and not much other than eggs, toast and fruit for westerners.

Lots of smokers in Padang so halls smell like smoke and you get a little bit of it even in the nonsmoking rooms. Not too many westerners here.

Room are nice but the towel and bed sheets need urgent replacements as they're already yellowish. The best part of the hotel is the rooftop which can give amazing view of sunset and padang's beach.

Suasananya nyaman tidak berisik.
Saya menginap selama 3 hari di lantai 2.
Ada rooftop yang menyajikan pemandangan kota padang.
Hanya saja di hari kedua saya menginap di kamar mandi seperti ada suara tetesan air yg bocor.

i stay here for 10days (bussiness trip) :
in this hotel wifi is suck, reall suck.
and you cant sit or hanging out di pool after 06.00 pm
toiletries you only have 1 eventhrough you stay in there with 2 people/rooms, and 1 slipper, that suck.
hope this hotel improve soon.

I stayed there yesterday for 2 nites. the bedroom interior is as the same all Ibis standart. The hotel has swimming pool and fitness centre (coming soon).
The restaurant located in the rooftop and it has a nice view of Padang city, beaches and mountains.

Pros:
+Padang's main road location, very accesible.
+Tidy, clean, modern, and comfotable.
+Room space is small but designed well to get a spacious feeling.
+Restaurant view is good, facing the city and sea
Cons:
-Room view is a crowded local resident.
-Room wall is not soundproof.
-Bathroom in general is small to the point your bathing water would spill everywhere.
-In my personal opinion, soap is too sticky.
-Restaurant have a small variation of choice for breakfast

I've never had the chance to sleep at Ibis Padang. I went there only to go swimming. The pool is small and about one-third of it dedicated for children. Whereas the area for adult is 120cm in depth. What I like about Ibis's swimming pool is that the one of the building near it "serves" as a sun shade so that you can swim until mid day without getting sunburns.
