Fitness centre is awesome even tho can be better ,location is ok,near to the beach and nothing else, room need more maintenance and staff need more training in hospitality .breakfast is many variety but the taste is still so so ..ala carte Indonesian menu is great but everything in mercury padang is still under ascott standard.

As far as Padang hotels go, this is a great choice. It's 3 star really as far as international travel is concerned with a nice a/c lobby, great pool, and a good breakfast set up. Room is quiet and comfortable (a little maintenance required) and it's conveniently located. A good bet in this part of the world.

Basically I always enjoyed any Mercure Hotel. This one has fine location, near the beach and central city, fine pool, fine fitness center, clean room, and also delicious food. My only complaint was my room smells quite bad from all the smokers before. There's a sign that says it's a non smoking room, but they provide an astray in the room? Ironic.

Best yet pricey hotel in Padang. After I checked in, I should placed IDR 500k as depositIt's clean, good facilities, neat, and also near to beach. If you can't get the window to beach you may get mountain view. What a good place! Modern look hotel with comfortable rooms. You may check my pics for details why I called this a pricey hotel.

Standard hotel with unfriendly prices. Need more improvement with breakfast menu. Compare to Aston Hotel, mercure is more expensive with lower standard. Sorry :)

I stayed here during work visit to one of branch of company I work for. The location is very near to beach. It was such a good scenary. This place is recommended if you visit Padang.

Good service hotel, with a good view. You just need 3 minutes to walk to the beach (Padang Beach), they have pool and gym for facilities. But sorry, the food was failed (for me).

Service is good, room is neat, facility is decent. A little bit of improvement in the food and drink portions would be great. This will be my third time residing here for the last three years so i hope they still holding their good points.

The hotel has complete amenities even for their smaller rooms. My room's toilet was spacious but could use a little bit more cleaning. The view of the sea is great but somewhat marred by the dirty canal and the local stores down below. Food was good. But the hotel is pricey in Padang.

Also double-lock your door. I put a "make up the room" sign on the knob but instead of knocking first, the overeager cleaner just unlocked the door and went in the room.

It's really a nice hotel in Padang, with oceans view and it only 200 meters to the beach. So you can swim at hotel pool and enjoy the beach view or you walk to the beach.

A good accor hotel chain in west Sumatera. Near to the beach and Basko mall. Have good ocean view. Nice rate with good hotel amenities. The bad thing is a dirty villagers in the back of hotel.
