the view is good,located near the supermarket n departement store.. the room is spacy and comfy, the service is excellent they made us feel comfortable enough to enjoy another night on this hotel..

A five star hotel but the room cleanliness & tidiness is worse than three star hotels, maybe because it's an old building (the one near the parking lot). The receptionist said the new hotel will be open this May but I see other people recommend to get the room in the new one, I don't know why the receptionist said so.

As you can see on the last picture, there is so much part of the room are not well-maintained. The advantage of the hotel is the strategic location.

If you want to stay here, make sure that you're placed in the new building, or at least on the upper floor. Things that I don't (really) like: I got a room in semi-basement and it was somewhat creepy. The lightning is inadequate. The cabinet is dark (did not has lightning too) and lack of hangers. The fridge was leaked too, making it's not really useful. The bathroom is old-fashioned an its door could not be closed and locked properly. Yet I might be visiting this hotel again to get better room and view.

Make sure you stay in the new building,since the old one is not well maintained in my opinion. It is located up the hill near the city centre. The location is strategic. The pool is wide enough, and there are a lot of trees in the hotel. It makes me comfortable. The food is good enough, with variety of food selection. In front of the hotel, there is a shopping centre. Walking around the hotel is quite exercising, since it is located up the hill.

Unfortunately I see this hotel isn't properly managed and become more a non-star hotel. Toilet, bathroom and room are dirty, I didn't feel welcome, no public place like a bar for hangout as business traveler. Many better hotels for the same or even lower price

the room that I've stayed in is pretty large in terms of area. the bathroom area is pretty spacious and it has a bathtub which i prefer. the only downside to this hotel is that the building feels very old. some rejuvenation could be helpful in order to attract the younger and more hip customers.

Clean room with nice view! Convenient location. The breakfast was very good too. Pas check in bakal diminta uang tambahan untuk deposit sebesar 300 ribu (yang mana biasanya hotel lain hanya 100 ribu), but that's ok, it still makes sense

Clean room with nice view! Convenient location! The breakfast was very good too. Idk why pas awal check in diminta uang tambahan untuk deposit 300 ribu, tapi dibalikin lagi pas check out, so we're not so worried ;-)

Good rooms, friendly receptionist. The restaurant is unfortunately not good. Service is bad, the waiters dont understand english at all. Eventhough the restaurant was empty we had to wait 40 minutes on our food. They brought us the food twice instead of one, in the wrong order. After complaining that the main course should be served later they took it back and brought it again, but it was cold already. We complained again and the took it back and rewarmed it. The food was not eatable anymore. After all that we went to the manager of the hotel, asking about a refund or so. They woulndt give us anything besides a ashamed sorry which was not what we expected. Im general the room and the price was ok for an indonesian 5-star hotel but the service was very bad. Not recommended at all!

Feel so dissapointed bout this hotel. The hairdrier not working, the plug not working, towel so dull, the pool really dirty.. Not recommended to stay for long time

One of oldest hotels in Samarinda. You can't have alcohol because they don't sell it. If you want it, you could ask their staff to buy it outside, or you could buy it yourself outside of this hotel. You can enjoy East Kalimantan cultural texture in many decorations at this hotel.
