Lokasi strategis, Interior modern terlihat bersih, lampu antar koridor cukup terang, lobby hotel dan ruang kamar luas, minibar, safe deposit box, internet/wifi lancar, kolam renang, hotel terkoneksi pusat perbelanjaan, ada meja kerja, pemandangan kota, toiletries, makanan variatif, ac dingin

Parkir lobby terbatas sehingga harus buru-buru, jalan parkir sempit dan agak gelap, makanan agak hambar, closet menghadap kiblat, balkon di lt.15 air hujan masuk/ ketampias, ac ruangan agak berisik, tidak terdapat musholla

Been coming and staying there since 2010 and still think its the best and most comfortable place to stay in Samarinda. Good services, good comfortable bed and kitchen that will always try to suit your needs. Not to mention is connected to shopping place where they have international chain supermarket (99 ranch market, yup the same one as in LA), Starbucks, Pizza hut, McD and KFC.

The hotel is connected to Samarinda Central Plaza. The ballroom is quite big. I was attending peagent competition rite there. The hotel has indoor swimming pool, the lobby is comfy and has live music almost every nite.

The staff are friendly and full of informations that we need .
Feel comfort for the bed. Indoor swimming pool.
We stay in 16th floor, we can hear the loudly from the graduation of the high school, and thanx God, that is during the day time. Overall, we really enjoyed to stay in Aston Samarinda, we’ll back sometime

Worth to stay in this Four Star Hotel with all Five star emenities it is located in heart of Samrinda City Close to Mahakam River, in second floor of the hotel have access to Samrinda Central Shopping Mal, 12th Floor Pool and Spa, Have sports bar with music in the evening, Silver Spoon restaurant with Multi-Cusine, A convention centre on 17th Floor, High Security round the clock,Well educated and highly deducated staff. what not you have everything i am speechless had a great experience

There was a recurring electricity problem in my room, so I was forced to move to the other room. Everything else is pretty standard. Good location, but the service and facilities should be better for that room rate.

Great hotel chioce in downtown Samarinda, capital of East Kalimantan. Lokasinya berdampingan dengan pusat perbelanjaan, bisnis, hiburan, dsb. Harga, secara umum, sepadan dengan layanan dan fasilitas yang diberikan. Kalau bawa kendaraan sendiri, cari tempat parkirnya kadang agak repot, terutama saat akhir pekan.

There is a nice, soft ambiance music, but it is mixed with the sound from the Television. That creates a noisy, unpleasant environment. It would be better to only have one sound at the time.
Juices are excessively sweet. For me they were undrinkable.

My stay in Aston Samarinda City is okay though I experienced a little inconvenience. I reached the hotel from Balikpapan Airport at about 2300H of 2017 March 09. I presented the Hotel vouched issued by Abbey Travel but the front desk personnel still required me to pay for my accommodation or deposit $ 85 as down payment so I deposited $ 100 coz' I don't have the smaller bill. After which, through this same front desk guy, I ordered dinner, some kind of noodle with tuna chunks with a price tag of 35,000 Rupiah which should have been delivered to my room (room service). I waited for more than an hour until I fell asleep. I woke up next morning realizing that my order was not served.
On 2017 March 11, I paid my 5 days accommodation using my credit card because they will not be accepting dollar through the front desk personnel who happens to be the one in charge when I checked in. He processed the payment and later called me up in my room informing me that he will have to void my payment because my stay was already paid by the agency and he will not be issuing an official receipt for me when I check out.

I booked 2 hotels rooms for 1 night at the Aston.
One non-smoking Business Suite for my husband and I + One non-smoking Deluxe Breakfast for my colleague. All three of us have stayed at various hotels throughout Indonesia and we all three agreed that this was by far one of the best experiences.
The rooms are truly NON-SMOKING. At other hotels non-smoking rooms tend to smell of ash and smoke, however not at the Aston. The Aston hotel has 3 floors that are designated to be non-smoking and they issue a fine of Rp2,000,000 (Approx. USD 150) to those who violate this policy. We were so grateful for it because the room was fresh and breathable. I'm currently pregnant and this was truly a non-negotiable option.
The Aston hotel is CLEAN! There are no foul smells or random bugs in the bathroom or in the room. Our colleague who stayed in the non-Smoking Deluxe agreed that the first thing she noticed was that the room was exceptionally clean with no foul smells or odors. We were truly impressed, because again our experience at other hotels in this region have been a bit of a disappointment in terms of cleanliness, but not here. The Non-Smoking Business Suite has a nice clean bathtub for those of you who enjoy to take a soak. There is also a wonderful stand up rain shower. Everything worked and the water was hot.
Wi-Fi – we do a lot of business on the go and there was a Wi-Fi router in both our rooms. Which was great for emails and strong enough to stream a movie without a problem.
Bed – The non-smoking Business suite came with a King bed that was super comfy. We had a great night’s rest. We requested a Queen for the non-smoking Deluxe and my colleague said she felt very refreshed.
Breakfast – they have a great layout of options for breakfast that include traditional Indonesian cuisine and Western comforts like waffles, pastries, jams and for those that like eggs you can request your eggs to order from the kitchen at no extra cost. Coffee and tea is served to you at the table by one of the friendly attendants.
Room Service – the menu had a balance of options. I order a burger and my husband order some fried rice. We were both satisfied. Our colleague went to the SCP mall to grab some dinner which can be accessed from the hotel.
Customer Service – hotel staff are friendly and kind. We definitely felt welcomed. I would highly recommend this hotel to those that are traveling through this region.

The nearest hotel at SCP because basically it's one building with SCP Mall. You can't use the lift if you don't hold a card. Ask the staff. There's a swimming pool and gym upstairs.
