Great view, nice architecture but the hotel room is pricey (Rp 2 million per room per night)

Best location to access Borobudur temple any time. Charming and simple place to stay. Food is nice.

I thought this place was great. The proximity to the temple alone is worth staying. The staff were very warm and welcoming, and the grounds are beautiful. The food was just ok, but was convenient. The were so few people there, it made for an interesting atmosphere, as it seemed guests were well outnumbered by staff. I would recommend this resort if visiting the temple.
Tips:
*The sunset tour of Borobudur is beautiful, though well attendedcheck into the extended sunset ticket instead for gorgeous painted skies with fewer people!response / report this review -

Very serene location, one of my favorites in Jogja. The hotel grounds are quiet and inspiring. I was able to do some amazingly refreshing morning meditating outside prior to seeing borobudor!

Amazing experience. The sunrise was wonderful and the temple itself majestic, millions and millions or bricks on top of each other and after 11 centuries it's still in really good condition.
After the sunrise, we got back at the manohara hotel that offered everyone a small breakfast with tipical sweets and coffee/tea, plus a little memory of the temple
Really recommend. A bit expensive 50£ each more or less, but worth itresponse / report this review -

I ordered mushroom soup but taste like plain water with shreded chicken and mushroom. No taste. Far beyond my expectation. Price not too expensive and the waitress was nice but difficult to find.

Used the resort for entry into the Borobodor sunrise experience. 450k IDR included coffee/tea and a small snack. You are also able to enter before the general public. We ordered more food off the menu. Food was fairly priced and delicious.

Small rooms but good service and very nice amenities. The fact it is on the temple grounds and you get a discount rate for sunrise and sunset tours (about 50%) and free unlimited entrance to the temple throughout the day cannot be beaten. So far an amazing stay! Very poor food at the dine in restaurant! Would highly recommend venturing out for lunch and dinner.

Very well placed resort, four stars only for the location.
As far as resort is concerned, small rooms with ok variety of food, outstanding service and courteous hotel staff.
Must say the hotel is strategically located at the best place of you want to visit and enjoy Borobudur and related history.
