Went there for friends gathering.. the hotel is quite old and in Villa concept. Complete facility and suitable for family vacation. They offer rafting and outbound too.

Hilly area with plenty of well-arranged trees. Beautiful outdoor spots, Merapi Mountain is very clear from this hotel. But I don't fancy the rooms. They look old and are not well refurbished.
Food? The breakfast is amazing. Various food to offer and they are all delicious.

Been visiting one of the best places to stay in Magelang, East Java. Puri Asri is not only a hotel to spend the night but it gives you scenery of nature. The river on the back is the privillage that the hotel give to the visitors. It offers rafting and other water activities. The swimming pool is nice, children will love to swim. The rooms are great! Waterboom is also available just behind the fron office. I visited this hotel and attended annual car club meeting. This hotel is really a good choice to be the place for having big event. In our event, there are around 300 more cars coming.

The hotel with natural view and fresh air. Also alot of think can do at this hotel, especially rafting. And for kidsdon't worry play ground, bikes, swiming and others activities can do here. Great place for family.

Luasan lahan yg 15 hektar dan tertata indah sedemikian rupa menjadikan kami sekeluarga betah. Banyak spot utk potret2 yg bertemakan keriangan piknik keluarga.

Satu hal yg membuat saya kagum yaitu kepada salah seorang bapak yg bernama Bpk.Torik (maaf kalau salah menyebut nama). Beliau sangat perhatian kpd semua tamu walaupun dia tugasnya sbg petugas kebersihan tetapi saat tugas di restauran bapak tsb menjalankan tugas lebih daripada hanya sbg petugas kebersihan. Salut kpd Bp. Torik, semoga pihak manajemen sadar akan kualitas Anda.

Old hotel but still a nice cozy place to stay. Open air and open garden environment. Nice service also. Shuttle to/from room is available 24hours. Tools of traditional games are also provided. Overall, nice place to stay with the whole family.

Very good place, service, and view. Very clean. Have lot of facility for family's quality time, such as kids playground, swimming pool, giant chest, river view, outbound arena. A very recommended family resort! But it was kinda upsetting cause my family and I couldn't do the rafting, cause it was full booked.

As said on the website, he atmosphere is fascinating. I personally like it because of the atmosphere and the terrain. Feels like going back to village. There is a rafting facility on the river side near the hotel site. The scenery on the riverside is wonderful too.

Suasana nya asri dan dingin. Restorant pringgondani nya langsung menghadap pengunungan cocok untuk spot foto. Outdoor activitiesnya banyak sekali termasuk arum jeram dan bebek bebekan di lokasi hotel.

Tempat bagus tp agak kurang terawat,, favorit tmpt nginep klo lg mudik via magelang biasanya nginep sini.. tp cb lbh dibersihkan dan dipelihara lagi terutama mainan2 anaknua yg sdh pada rusak.. dsini ada raftingnya lho krn ada sungai nya yp kami lom prnah cobamakanan breakfastnya banyak.

Clean, quiet, spacious. We chose the property because of the river, paddy fields and Mt. Sumbing view, which were just excellent. Great value of money as well. They even provided free dinner to all our group of 15 people, which was really unexpected. The river bank grass seating area needs cleaning up from abandoned thrashes though. And if there is a bridge from the hotel area to the paddy field across the river, it would be just perfect.

Only been to Magelang once and glad we chose this hotel, a totally new experience, best getaway retreat for the family with loads of fun activities. Facilities and rooms are grand, friendly staff. Compliments to Mr. Angga that made our stay more enjoyable (thanks for the shuttle tour and pick ups around the complex)

Best hotel in town. More like a garden than an hotel. It is located in the slope of Progo river valley. So literally you stay in a river side. Try to walk on the bank of the river in the morning or doing jogging in the park nearby, it is the best way to enjoy the atmosphere.

Best hotel for relaxing.

It's very relaxing. The Progo river passes the hotel. You can even do rafting there.

Good scenery, you can see the green view and the Sumbing mountain. It's very beautiful.

The hotel itself is very nice. They have a delicious breakfast and great room.

The price is about IDR 600.000 per night for the room in the river side. I recommend this room. Trust me.

Definitely the best hotel in Magelang. The executive room was clean, all the staff were friendly and helpful, and the scenery was great. They had delicious and varied dinner and the breakfast buffet. Very recommended place for a relaxing getaway.

+ Some animals adopted in cages, and some are roam free
+ Good food & beverages
- Be carefull for 'mine' from roam free animals like goose :D
- Small mosque

Very nice a place to stay.. if u need to run away place from a busy work environment, u need to stay couple of night here.. great nature view and refreshing air thats all u need.. if u like to watch movies forget it coz they got a bad signal tv broadcast.. but never mind, u'll got a time with mother nature here.. love it..
