Old fashioned hotel to stay during your holiday in Padang. The staffs, especially the receptionist are a bit unresponsive. When I checked in at 1 pm, I ask for my rooms, I ordered 2 connecting rooms for my family. But the rooms was not ready yet. The reception told me to wait until 2 pm and then come back again to the reception. They simply ignore me, my baby, my kid, and my parents who were exhausted from a long flight, without saying sorry at all. They even did not gave us welcome drinks that I always get when I stayed in four stars hotel (or above) while waiting. The guests were also smoking at the lounge in front of the reception, which makes the air very smelly. I am so disappointed with this situation. The beach is so so, there is a fly over/bridge development on the beach, so it is not comfortable at all.

Old hotel with some newly furnished.
Be aware of the bathroom floor, it's slippery.
The Swimming Pool is not clean, some people make it worse with sand beach.
The breakfast is below average, and the restaurant was dirty and wet due to wet people walking around just after swim.

Overpriced hotel! Harga tidak sebanding dengan kualitas. Ketidaknyamanan dimulai saat cek in, salah satu staf resepsionis tidak ramah, ketus ketika bookingan kami by phone tidak tercatat. Ketika memasuki kamar, perabot sudah tampak usang, AC kurang dingin. Ketika flushing toilet, airnya ada serpihan2 warna hitam tidak tahu apakah itu lumut, kerak atau pasir. Yg lebih mengecewakan, beach front yg diunggulkan pun tak seindah yang dibayangkan. Pantainya ada sampah berceceran, dekat muara sungai yang kotor baunya kurang sedap. Serta parahnya ada pekerjaan pembangunan flyover pas di pantai depan hotel. Kelak flyover selesai, sea view dan akses ke pantai akan terhalang beton flyover. Menu sarapannya pun terbatas seperti budget hotel. Saat mencoba berenang, air kolam renang agak keruh bau kaporit. Dari rencana 3 mlm, cukup 1 mlm saja di hotel ini, segera kami memutuskan utk mencari hotel lain.

Perfect locations so you can feel morning sea breeze while breakfast. It could be 5 stars, but third floor near central AC unit with loud fans. Also management should check hair dryer not working, and insulation on each room is not adequate. You can still hear someone talking on alley.

Located by the beach and close to city center. Superior double room is quite spacious. Toiletry facilities are provided in the room along with tea/coffee making facilities. However, there is no ironing facility. So if you need your clothes to be ironed, you have to send to laundry. Room facing main road (mountain view) tend to be noisy. Drivers use their horn a lot. If you want a quieter room as for sea view rooms.

Located near the beach. You can have delicious breakfast with beach view. But the view from bedroom is disappointing. Wifi? The signal is very low in some room. And earthquake may gives you some chills on your spine hahaha

Hygiene could be better in the bathroom but i guess for sumatran standards its still quite acceptable. Pool is nice. Food and beer are a little pricey.

The price is cheap and it has standard amenities of a good hotel: towel, sandals, en-suite bedrooms, welcome drink, water boiler, hot shower, bathtub, breakfast, etc.
