Grand Mega Resort & Spa is located in Simpang Siur area which is near to the Airport (15 min drive) the price is much cheaper booking via online like Traveloka, the hotel has opened since 2012 and need a better maintanance in its rooms. The hotel room is clean and has the bathtub with TV provided to relax and leisure. The breakfast is good offer a lot variety including traditional food and roti cane with curry topping.

Hotel location is really nice. It's very close to the airport as well as many restaurants including Indian restaurant. A big mall is just in front of this hotel. Free swimming pool, zym also available. The only thing that needs to be improved is the condition of the room n washroom. Our room was deluxe room but it had only 1 charging point. TV cable connection was poor. Washroom had one loose tap. But all this was avoidable as it didn't create any problems. The best thing is that hotel staff was very very helpful. They will listen attentively and follow all ur requests. Would surely recommend.

Great service with amenities from toiletries, transport, buffet breakfast. The room is quite narrow but already includes a bath tub, shower, toilet, cushioned seat, sink, vault and small closet to hang a few clothes. Careful though, 3 sides of the wall have mirrors to make u dizzy. 😅

Bad management regarding transport. They are dealing with local drivers to force you to use local taxi on double price and not enter Grab within hotel. One driver also misbehaved with me.

Had a great stay, food was beautiful for every meal and the staff were helpful and couldn't do enough to help, they even played disney tunes from the swim up bar for our daughters! Would recommend.

First stay in this hotel was on 2012. New hotel, great layout. Spacious bathroom with separate shower + bathtub equipped with LCD TV so that you can soak and watch. Big mirror in bathroom and bed room. Comfortable bed, great pool.

Location is a little bit far away from beaches, but opposite the Hotel there's Galleria mall for your dining and shopping needs.

Recently I come back, and most of the facilities need better maintenance and renovation. Thus the 3 stars.

Not actually that far away! Very comfortable with polite staff and a very professional (reasonably priced) spa. Felt as though the rooms where a bit dated, but they where clean and the air con was cold. Hot water in the bath with two working televisions with a good variety of channels. Breakfast haf a good range with excellent juice! Quick and Free transport into Kuta markets/Kuta central or a 10-15min walk.
Over all, we would be very happy to stay here again.

I like the room.
Comfey and clean.
If you like mirrors on your room, this hotel offers you a lot. The room and the bath room is so spacious. You may like to spend a lot of time in the bath room. Provides welcome drink at the room. The food is okay. The pool is okay. It is near the airport too.

Staff are amazing friendly helpful and really good to talk too, nothing is a problem, but if you do find an issue just talk to staff they will try really hard to accommodate you as fast as possible, for the price you can not and should not complain better than been at home.

Reasonable and low price hotel on Main Street leading into Kuta area, close to airport (15min) and costs 150,000rpa one way. Shopping centre across the very busy road has multiple stores and restaurants in it. Hotel restaurant pricey for pseudo-American dishes with no local feel. Pool bar staffed only sometimes and very expensive.
Rooms run down though still pretty, only two basic bath towels in the room, front desk only willing to send up one more. Pool towels few and far between.
Loud music around pool starting at 1000 and doesn't stop until 2200h (10pm),
Great breakfast though, omelet stations amazing and good selection of fruit and juices.

The hotel is very nice but isn't a safe place. After 10pm will advice you all to stay at the room. Will not encourage to hang at lobby after 10pm. The staff there can't understand English at all. Won't advice girls to go out alone. I had a bad experience that 4 strangers followed us up to our rooms

We stayed at the Grand Mega for 6 nights, 22 March 2014, till 28th. We were in a large group. Everyone had the best stay and staff were always helpful. Breakfast pretty average, but ok. Rooms very clean and the pool with the swim bar was excellent. The grand mega is on a busy 6 lane highway, which can be very dangerous, but the security will help you across the road to the shopping centre if you ask. A bit to walk to Kuta or legian but $3.00 AU by taxi is all it cost.. A great stay for a short trip like ours 6 nights, I wouldn't recommend the spa and massage, i wasn't impressed for the money. But all up everything was ok..

We got an "Early bird special" with "60% discount". Because of this lower rate I am certain we were given one of the more run down rooms. There were brown stains all over the roof, we had termites in all of the corners and the flooring was all ripped. The room smelled awful, the toilet would not flush properly and it took 10-15 minutes before hot water came out of the shower (Which had awful water pressure too!). Our room was at the front of the hotel, facing the main road. But could not see anything through the concrete and metal "decoration" on the front of the hotel - which wasn't a huge issue, but more annoyed that there was no soundproofing and the glass did not even completely seal up, there was a gap around one part of the glass, letting in a lot of noise and fumes. Also late one evening there was a worker out there fumigating, all the fumes came into our room through this gap, luckily my asthmatic husband had his inhaler on hand. They also "fumigated" the pool, lobby and restaurant area one afternoon, while a crowd was trying to enjoy the pool, which resulted in thick, black, rancid smelling smoke going absolutely everywhere. Not very thoughtful. I will never stay here again. Certainly does not deserve even a 4* rating. The only thing I liked was the nice deep bath with the tv, and the security guards were the most friendly and courteous out of all of the staff.

We recently stayed at Grand Mega and had such a wonderful holiday. The resort exceeded our wildest expectations. The staff were so friendly and even remembered our names after only a day or so. Our room was spectacular, especially the designer bathroom with the TV. The pool area was fantastic and we made good use of it. The breakfast was amazing, so much to choose from and endless coffee refills. The shuttle to Kuta was useful and also the helpful security guard who stopped the traffic for us to get over the busy road to the Galleria Mall.
We would definitely stay again when we return to Bali.
