I come to this hotel for business trips in Balikpapan, kind of old, luxury and historical hotel, well maintained. The only one problem come is Wi-Fi not working properly very slow. Food it's okay, amenities good. Recommended for revisited again.

I visited Grand Senyiur hotel for a professional annual meeting and stay for 8 hours in the confrence room and lobby. The room was spacious and the furnitures were old but still functioning. The last lunch provided by the hotel restaurant, the dishes were quite complete and many variations, but the taste were not quite good. The restroom was lack of routine maintenance and a little bit dirty.

The Grill and Sky Bar have beautiful view to sea and town. The hotel shows good quality of wood at the doors and flooring. The old wood in some area near to basement and the pool need continuous maintenance

Classic high class designed hotel, not a millenial person could fond of, but quite nice and up to standard. Just an okay hotel of all the intricate details of interior removed, could use more electric sockets though

Paid 30k for a wedding here and this was supposed to be a 5 🌟 hotel.. In my experience it was like 2 almost. Over priced and outdated. 30k should be like a 10k wedding I rather fly back to usa or somewherr else like Norway aurora for that price

Good hotel. Just avoid using the shuttle service of this hotel. The driver tried to overcharge us for a very short trip. The rest of the facilities of the hotel is OK.

Old design, they have many food for breakfast till dinner. Making good service here and they have bathub in room. But i feel spooky here and they dont have any shampoo too.

Aromatic spa and high quality food spacious room with lot of light.
Cycling around gives a wonderful feeling at home.
Courteous staff and local residents ,the chef cares for the peoples choice.Roof Top gives the sea view ,Gymnasium is fine ,its ideal for family.I left for Lambok Trimakazi indonesiaresponse / report this review -

The most classic and traditional hotel in Balikpapan. You'll still able to find all of the interior made by wood, there are also old car and big motorbike put on the lobby.

One of memorable hotel in Balikpapan.
Old design but clean and tidy with relatively large room size.
In the top, there are bar and restaurant with great view of Balikpapan.
