Location central to main street for food/bars and shopping. Short walk to beach. Room functional and confortable. Pool accessed directly via the room window for a dip. I thought this might be noisy and less private but it was lovely and quiet with other guests being mindful not to hang outside your room in the pool. Rooftop bar a must for sunset.

The worst hotel we stayed in Bali and one of my worst hotel experiences I’ve ever travelled to across the world.
We were located in a room that opens up to the pool. At first you think this is cool but you soon realise that you will get no sleep and no time to relax in these rooms. The pool is freezing. We were supposed to stay 4 nights. After 2 nights of people drinking outside our room till 3am the reception staff moved us to the other end of the hotel which had building work on it so we were woken by work tools and it meant the WiFi was non excistent.

Great value for money and fantastic location ( though the last bit of the road is terrible for cars). Staff friendly and super efficient. Rooms are nice but small and a clothes rack would be nice, rather than those trendy ladders which I never know how to use..

Hotel was okay, clean and neat. Service was very friendly, everything functioned well. Breakfast was ok, view to the ocean nice. Room was small, but nicely furnished and clean. Handtowel didn't include to the price, bathtowels were clean, but old. Pool was a bit small, but there were pooltowels and good service. All in all, okay hotel. Area was quiet, so nights were quiet. Price-quality was balanced.

Good value for money. Stayed in a decent room with direct access to the pool. Unpaved, bumpy soil road leading up to the hotel but close proximity to Echo beach. Good food joints nearby and a CIMB Niaga ATM and a convenience store right across the street.

I booked my room thinking about being able to step into the pool through my room and I absolutely loved it. The room looked really cool and the shower was amazing.

I stayed in a room with pool access just outside the the bedroom doors. The pool is shared so bare in mind that it can get a bit noisy at random times from the pool area. There are restrictions on pool access times (closes at 9pm), but not really respected or enforced so drunk lads can decide to take a swim at anytime. All balconies are faced towards the same direction and noise travels easily. I stayed there during the Silent day (Nyepi), a day where everything should be kept at a minimum. Even during this day two different groups of guests where playing deep house in the pool area. The average guest tends to be around their mid 30s. There where also a couple of room partys until pass midnight, which ofc prevented you from sleeping. Your experience may vary. I usually woke up at 7am due to various noises from the pool area or corridor outside of the room (cleaning, etc).

I ordered the vegetable pizza as room service. Prices are OK, but quite boring vegetables, like if they where from a can.

The staff was helpful and very friendly. Helped me with all my questions and also stayed and chatted with you (some of them).

Air conditioner worked well and was unexpectedly quiet. But you hear toilet flushes from other rooms loud and clear.

Overall it's was a nice stay, but quite noisy. I would stay here again just because of the rooms with pool access, but not if there only where rooms with balconies. Pool room number 101 is closest to reception and elevator and might be noisy because of that. 109 and 110 are closest to the pool bar (convonient) but also close to the sun beds outside the bar. A room somewhere in the middle like 105 or higher than 112 is probably most preferable.

Overall is good. Just only 2 things that we have concerned are ;
- The road in front of the hotel/road to approach the hotel. It is very broken.
- The family room ( at the end of the corridor L1 next to staff room) that we stayed. In every early morning, It was disturbing by the noise of trolley and Staff closing the staff room's door.

Would be more awesome if you can improve this issue.

Staying at Frii Hotel was a wonderful experience. The pools were very nice and long - great for length swimming as well as just hanging out and cooling off. The staff were very helpful in every way. Very clean, great price, and I will most likely be coming back someday!

Very nice hotel! The pool access room is amazing! Straight from your bed into the pool. Very clean and modern rooms. Location is perfect, 5 minutes walk to Echo Beach and close to many nice restaurants. Staff were all very nice and breakfast was good too.

The area is rather out of place and the road was uneven, which makes it difficult to ride my motorbike in. It is within walking distance to Old Man's beach which is not as nice compared to Batu Bolong and Echo Beach. There is nothing much in the area except for a money changer and convenience store. Location is not really good. One of the pillow was really smelly. The water pressure from the shower is very weak. The place is clean, the view is good from the balcony. But it is noisy at night with the croaking of frogs and insects which makes it difficult to sleep. Aircon wasn't really working and the room was very stuffy. There were a few mosquitoes in my room which kept biting me through the entire night and I ended up with sores all over me the next day and couldn't sleep at all in the night. Double bed room wasn't a queen size bed but two single beds joined together, so I could feel the crack in between. I ended up sleeping on only one side of the bed. Staff is friendly, although some of them are not sure of the area and couldn't recommend the nearby attractions to me. Check out was extremely slow. Security is friendly as well. The place is new and clean, but there are still a lot of room for improvements to make my stay better.

Its a very nice hotel, good location and friendly staff. Only thing why I didnt give 5 stars is that the access road is as of October 2017 still dirt road which might be fixed in future.

Really liked the design and breakfast was good. It was pretty much ideal for us except the music by the pool could be less cheesy and mainstream. Not all young people enjoy only radio and club hits, at least during the day it should be a bit more downtempo and relaxed. Also, the checking in and checking out process is too long and weird. We were asked to wait until someone checks the room when checking out, a bit odd. Then we were told that there was a broken glass, we didn't even use glasses as we only drink bottled water. I did see the small crack when we checked in, odd that they when they checked the room before we checked in.

Check-in not possible on time, they say to ask at reception for bike rental but they cant/wont help, to buy mobile phone stuff like charger or cable its possible at the minimarket next to the hotel but if you ask staff they say its only avaiable in the city, massage only till 6pm, wifi not really working, laundry 10x more expensive than in my last hotel in canggu - we just had no luck here, not recommended at all!

Really nice stay here. Location was perfect. Warm welcome from staff where I was greeted with an orange juice which was so refreshing. Staff were so helpful. Hotel was clean and so safe. Breakfast was delicious.
I left early to check out before breakfast and they gave me a breakfast box to takeaway. Would stay here again.

Perfect location for us. Nice pool and staff, small but neat rooms. Only suggestions would be to put 1 or 2 chairs in the rooms or on the balconies and also would recommend some towel racks in the bathrooms to hang towels. My friend hurt her knee and the staff at the front counter did not know where the first aid kit was. While we weren't too annoyed by this a family with young kids may not feel the same. I think it is important for all staff to be briefed on where first aid kits are.

Our room was on the first floor and had great access to the two pools which were so lovely! The room itself was quite big and the bed one of the comfiest I've slept on for a while. It's only like a ten minute walk to the beach and five minutes to a main road with the majority of cafes and restaurants so a very good location. The breakfast is a buffet and served on the top floor so I you get a great view along with some really good food! I just wish we could've stayed for longer, Canggu is so great!

The hotel is in a fantastic location right near the beach! The room is relatively nice and has all the necessities! We came during the busy season so the pool and other amenities were harder to enjoy (as one would expect). But the staff was quite friendly and there were many other young adults enjoying the property as well!

Really nice place! Staff was very helpful, great pool and well located to do all the things in canggu. Stayed here for 6 nights and had a great time. Only minus : mafia in bali. You cant take taxis like UBER, you have to take drivers .. a way more expensive..

Terribly slow wifi. Narrow pool and deck. No drinking water refill station. Small but decent rooms. Nice view from 3rd floor. Good water pressure. Great location except street is a mud bath in the rain. Somebody must have pissed off the banjar for this road to still be unpaved. It's a good enough spot, but I won't stay here again.

Good place to stay as a surfer - walkable to the beach. Comfortable stay w standard hotel amenities. But the whole area is off access to taxis or Uber so you'll have to pay a fair bit more to arrange transport options, or rent a scooter.

Very friendly hotel staff! Clean hotel and good airco.
You could hear a lot of noise though. The rooms weren't very well isolated unfortunately.
Don't come here if you are looking for a quiet and relaxed atmosphere.
Other than that a great hotel and great location, close to echo beach.

Upmarket accommodation option in canggu, centrally located between beach. Room has essentials with daily room service to reasonable standard. Staff do their best to make you feel welcome. Included breakfast needs to be improved. My room had two singles pushed together to make a king (you could feel the split in the middle so i only slept on a single) also my room was recently painted so the room stunk. I had to open the doors to let fresh air in frequently (this brought in many unwelcomed mosquitos) other than that it was ok.

Superb and authentic design. Frii hotel provides the best service and friendly staff!! Also provide very good breakfast while enjoying the ocean view from the rooftop deck, you got to love the view!. We really enjoy the brand new hotel while the area still pure and not too commercial. Within walking distance to echo beach.
