I've been to Bali at least once a year for 11 years now, and there is not much negativity to say about this hotel. Yes it might be a bit on the old side, but still pretty good to be honest.

Friendly staff is the one thing you will instantly notice. Rooms and food are so-so but it is to be expected from almost every hotel in Bali (except you are going for the higher-end ones). On a personal note, I'd like to point out the swimming pool which is very thoughtfully designed to accommodate all age and proficiency levels.

Located at a busy 2-way road, you'll only need to cross the road to Discovery Shopping Mall with its gorgeous sunset view at the back and walk a bit to reach Waterbom Bali, one of the largest water parks in all Asia. And yes, many means of transportation are easily accessible from here. All in all, a worthy 4-star.

Everything is Good. The best thing is Pizza Hut/Starbucks/Burger King/ KFC all our just outside of the hotel and also Indian restaurant is just walking distance awaythere is local market also near by only.

Hotel is located ideally close to restaurants and the beach. The dining and swimming pool area is perfect. The only downside was the construction and renovations, other than that, we will definately come stay here again!

Nice place to stay, food more options but okay taste, egg station was awesome, adri was very helpful staff Location is close to mall, restaurants But nothing much for kids like the one Bali dynasty resort would offer.

i'm disappointed about the secure of this hotel. This morning before we check out me and my husband are walking out surrounding environment,we leave my cell phone and laptop in the room and lock the door and hang on "please make up the room" card on the door. After 2 hours we came back to the hotel, we are very surprised find out our door open, WITHOUT anybody, without any room boy and the room still messy. Fortunately my cell phone and laptop still there, but we are very dissapointed why the door left open just like that without any room boy. And we didn't get any explanation about that when i talked to the room service.
We hope this doesn't happen again to other guest.

Good location. Very neat and quiet hotel. Close to discovery mall, water park, beach and markets. The area where the hotel is located seems to a bit more quiet than other tourist areas such as Legian.

Stayed 4 nights at Bali Rani. Upgraded, very good. After 2weeks elsewhere we went back to Bali Rani for the final 3nights in Indonesia based on our first experience. Good rooms, cleaned each day, great breakfast, across the road from discovery shopping centre in Kuta, around the corner from the airport, nice pool. We'll go again.

Drainage was usually blocked. We had paid huge amount to Thomas Cook but we our room wasnt spacious and bathroom was too small. Spacious and rooms facing swimming pools was given only to people from Europe, USA and UK. Not sure if it was because we booked room from Thomas Cook and did not book it directly that we did not get clean and spacious rooms. The food that we received from Brasserie the restaurant was too good and the staffs in the restaurant was also very friendly. However the overall experience wasnt pleasant at all except for the food. We have decided never again to go back to Bali or to Bali Rani Hotel.

Nice hotel with strategic location 1km to kuta beach. Exactly in front of discovery hotel and discovery mall. If you want to go to the beach to watch sunset you can shortcut through discovery hotel or discovery mall. Hotel is quite big, the staff is nice and accommodative. Bfast n lunch are quite variative though international menu is limited. The room is big and clean. The only downside is it look and smell old. Overall its a nice hotel.

Rooms were dirty, the breakfast was subpar and a lizard got into pur room. Personally wouldn't go back, but good if you only use the room for sleep and plan to spend the majority of your holiday out exploring

A little disappointed this time around. We've stayed here several times in the past and it's been great. This time the service is a little lacking and the room didn't present as well as it has done in the past. We couldn't get a hotel transfer as we flew in after midnight and they seem to be only one staff member on who was run off his feet trying to keep up with 3 guests that were checking in at the same time

It is close to Kuta beach and in the best market place of Bali. The staff is really polite and friendly. Breakfast is good, and there are many good Indian restaurants around the place. This place is also close to the airport just 10-15 min drive.

Its Old hotel, it says 4 star but i do not find it worth 4 stars. Bed linen stained, towels ages old, room size small, booked superior double room and they gave a room with two single beds to a honeymoon couple. There are many better options at same rate here like Bali Kuta Heritage Beach, Ramada, Discovery Hotels, 4points by Sheraton, Avana.

No issues really. Pool very clean. Linen and towels clean. Rooms are huge andvthe one I was occupying was in a quiet corner with no traffic at all( 151), 5 metres from the pool.

Nice hotel, medium sized pool. Nice assortment of breakfast. Staff are very friendly. Our room which was the deluxe needs a reno but still has all the things you need. 2 x free bottles of water every day. Tea, coffee, kettle Bar fridge.

It is located in the central of Kuta and the hotel is pretty comfortable. I was disappointed at the dinner. It was small portions and me and my family had to go get KFC cause we were starving. But overall it is a nice and tropical hotel.

We spent our honeymoon vacation here at Bali Rani Hotel in Feb 2015 and indeed, we have very fond memories. It was one of our best decisions to choose this hotel.

Here is how our experience went:

1. The airport pickup was right on time & smooth. A gentleman from the hotel was waiting for us as we exited the airport.
2. The staff is warm and welcoming. We felt at home throughout our stay.
3. The location is perfect - right on Kuta Street. Easily approachable, & close to Discovery Mall through which we used to go to the beach every evening.
4. High quality spacious rooms. Ours was one of those with the swimming pool view. An occasional rain plus beer in the in-room refrigerator made it all the more terrific. Plus we booked the room well in advance which means we got a substantial discount.

For the last 2 days of our honeymoon at Bali, we had booked a villa in Nusa Dua but our fondness for Kuta Street was such that we revisited it on both the days and also said a final good bye to Hotel Bali Rani before leaving for India!

Far-away from the airport 20 ms if no jam traffic, and 20 ms from The Western Street. Not near the beach, if wanna go to the beach, you have to walk just 10 ms

Free wifi in room, swimming pool, full facilities and spacious room.

Breakfast is average and simple

Bali Rani hotel is beautiful, with a lotus pond and a lovely lobby to lounge in. The pool is beautiful.
The staff is friendly.
Spa services are good too. It is a good place to relax and unwind.

Excellent location. Food and shopping close by. Airport in close proximity. Decent service and assistance. The only one drawback is that they request for the payment for the stay upfront. Generally it is a very clean and decent residence. Food at the restaurant is also decent.
