Upon check out, I needed to go to SMAN1 Kupang and tried but failed to get a Grab car. So I asked a staff for taxi, was told that the hotel taxi is available at Rp.85,000. As I did not know my way around and was kind of in a rush, I agreed. I was shocked to find that it was just nearby, around a 5-minute leisure drive away!
Later in the afternoon, I managed to get a Grab car to take me from SMAN1 to Eltari Airport, and it cost me only Rp.41,000! I really felt cheated!

This hotel is facing the sea. It even has a small balcony in the restaurant area where you can enjoy the sea more clearly. The sunset is very beautiful here in Kupang, and evenmore you can enjoy it from the room here in Aston Kupang (if you got the room with sea view of course). The food served was quite good with a lot of variations, and they also served local foods too so it's a plus.

Beside a nice room, Aston Kupang provide a very good breakfast! Especially for local food and also pastry. The staff very friendly and helpful

It was my first time visit Kupang. Lucky me since I chosed Aston hotel for my accomodation. The room was clean the bed was comfortable and the shower awesome. Specially the rain shower. I chose the ocean view room. It was amazing view.

One of the best hotel in Kupang for the moment. Have stayed here for several times however I've just recently realised that they also offer free airport shuttle on a scheduled pick up/drop off basis. Convenient if it matches your arrival/departure time as taxi can be quite costly (around idr 70,000 using airport taxi)

Room was cozy, wifi was okay, nice selections of tv channel, and if you book directly with their website they'd try to give you a room with a nice view (facing the beach / night fish market) across the hotel street.

Breakfast was fine, with variety of choices such as fresh fruit & salad, bread & cereals, traditional Kupang, indonesia, western selections, etc.

Second time visiting this place. Sink in the bathroom has spillage problem. Toilet didn’t fill with water after first flush. Second day was fixed. Chinese hotel provided old dessert little bit sour. For a name brand this place needs better management.

A very recommended hotel in Kupang. There's free shuttle car to airport. Nice and friendly hotel staff with good service. Awesome restaurant view at 2nd floor.

Good location with a beautiful view of Kupang beach. The bed cover, pillow and sheet are stingky and disgusting. I found many yellow spots like s***m and massage oil on bed cover and sheets. It seemed they did not change them with the clean ones. They put me in the room with a leaking bathroom. The breakfast is just avarage but the waitress are nice, polite and helpful. The service on the front desk did not treat us equal. I came first for check-in but she asked me to seat and wait. 7 minutes later came a group of aircrew and she serve them first. I call ten times the hotel phone number from airport with no success.

Friendly staff. Comfortable and free airport shuttle. Assorted and tasty breakfast, perfect to enjoy it on the Balcony. Excellent ocean view from my room! Wonderful sleeping in very comfy bed. Clean. Central and good location of the hotel. Exciting fish- and seafood market on the beach across the road. Bad experience with the room service: Almost 90 min from my order to delivery. Big, cold and stone hard burger. No bacon as promised. Cold fried egg, not sunny side. Missed some of the condiments mention in the menu. But full price, of course When i called to ask after 1 hour, they blamed it on "gas problems", but i rather think it was the bacon- and pork-war going on because of the Muslim invasion in this Christian area Stone cold room which could not be regulated by the thermostat. Expensive and at times unreliable laundry service.

Free airport shuttle. Epic breakfast buffet served from 4am. Friendly staff but poor English. That's pretty much the standard though. But they couldn't figure out when the ferry to Rote was leaving which is a bit of a minimum in my book. They arranged taxis for us to the crystal cave and market, which was great. If you're on a budget though you might want to grab a taxi on the street, as they are pretty pricey. The room wasn't too clean, and the shower didn't work properly. For us I think it would've been better to stay closer to the ferry, night market and all that, not too much to do around the hotel and you can't use the beach there. We stayed for one night on our way to Rote Island.

Cozy place,The staff is friendly. Although the sea view is not quite great as the place is not adjacent to the beach. But the sunset view from the beach across the street (non recreational beach) is awesome.

Have been here several times for work. Definitely friendly staff. The view from the room exceptional (choose the one facing to the sea). There's a variety of food for breakfast, tastes delicious. Also good room service.

Location is nice with sea view. Room was clean and comfortable. Wifi was fast enough. The service from the hotel staff was excellent. My only complaint was the water from the shower wasnt hot enough and the noise from neighbour room was disturbing (because i got the room with connecting door to other room). Overall, Aston Kupang provide very good service and reccomended hotel

Very cozy and comfy place where they serve you welcome drink and towel. The hotel is facing the beach but I did notget the sea view. Staffs were very friendly, breakfast was good, the bar at the top floor was nice but slightly expensive. The view from the bar or restaurant balcony (the restaurant is called The Balcony) is amazing as you can see the blue sea during the day. The room is very comfy and nice but there is very little choice of tea and coffee and complimentary mini bar. Unfortunately, swimming pool area was closed due to renovation during my stay.

i really enjoy 3 night sleep in Aston Kupang, really clean, comfortable and good service from the staff. A minor thing that happen when i take breakfast i found that the rice a little bit stiff, and the main menu variant is not much enough.

Nice and cozy room with adequate bath room minus "not so hot " water. Excellent breakfast with nice variety of menu, especially the traditional menus. Excellent view from second floor. The fish market across the street, that open at night, add a bit of adventure to see local seafood ingredients. Overall a nice place to stay.

Not bad (very good by kupang standards infact) butfeels like building is still under construction and their very annoying habbit of not charging drinks in the bar or room service to your room but making you pay cash immediately is rather annoying especially if you don't have cash. Do they honestly think I'd do a runner in the middle of the night?!?! Great views too IF you get an ocean view room!

Nice clean and comfortable hotel at below 50USD. All basics covered with a good range of items for breakfast. However, beware the walls are very thin I could hear my neighbor's coughing through the night.
