Went for a long weekend ending today. Since we planned last minute we just grabbed this. As some others have said here, the photos look much nicer than the actual property or its current condition. Have to say I thought this was a sort of sad little hotel. Staff were lovely in all areas, front desk and breakfast room. We booked a “suite” but it’s basically a large regular room. It’s not the kind of place we felt we wanted to hang out or lounge around the pool. There is a sort of nice view from the roof but it’s not such an inviting space. Finally, we asked for a late checkout and they gave us 12:30 which was nice but for the requested 2 pm there would be an additional charge. But the hotel is 80% empty so why? Anyway, if you need a budget hotel in Legian this was OK. As others mentioned the breakfast is pretty basic but fine for a budget hotel.

I stayed in room 255 and was aweful , staff banging on floors from upstairs in weird hours, shower was cold to warm water, they said I can use the shower in 266
And the room stank like cigarettes when I arrived
Boring as, I payed good money to stay here.
The staff are very friendly and the rest of the hotel is very nice, but the elevator smells a bit mouldy.response / report this review -

Good location / good rooms / good prices so what more to say? Don’t expect something extraordinary but the value-to-price ratio is really good.
They serve a really good breakfast with a huge variety of western und indo food with fresh fruits every morning.
If you rent a scooter for a few days, you can park it in their secured underground garage.response / report this review -

Nice and clean with really wonderful staff.

The Ananta was beautifully clean. We had a great stay. The staff were helpful and very polite, always there to help.

This hotel is in a nice location for bars and restaurants. About a ten min walk to the beach. The pool area is nice but a bit shady. The breakfast is adequate not sure if book it again. The rooms are basic but clean. Staff are lovely couldn't be any nicer helpfully and accomodating. Have a look at the roof top bar the sunsets are amazing.

Great location. Attentive and great staff. Good rooms with nice furniture. Beds and pillows are very comfortable. Only downside is not enough electrical outlets by the bed to charge devices and needs a better breakfast

We had a great time in the hotel!
Rooms are comfortable and clean. Bathroom should be better though (specially the shower)
Staff was great, eager to help and very warm.
Breakfast was also good and pool is very nice
Only problem here is the location - this is not the best area to stay! It's close to the main road and where all the shops/restaurants but to get there you must walk at least 20min (under the hot weather of Bali).response / report this review -

Great service in this centrally located hotel. Excellent range of breakfast choices gave us plenty of variety for the day ahead. Only minor gripe was the pool water was quite cold, so we don't get to use it.the building overshadows it so sunlight to warm the water is limited

Very basic breakfast. Restaurant is full of small mosquitoes so you should be willing to share your food with them. Only one power plug in the room. No ceiling lamp in the room, just one in corridor. Worst of all we saw a dead cockroach when we came back to our room from a day tour and when we called the room service they came and grabbed it with bare hands!

Good price for the central location. The rooms were clean and fairly small, same for the pool area which doesn't get much direct sunlight. The buffet breakfast wasn't anything to write home about. Friendly staff. Located in a traffic heavy area.

Good centrally located hotel for the price. The pool area is rather small and shaded, with the rooms being fairly small. This is okay though if you plan on being out and about for most of the time.
