The Bali Spirit is a wonderful hotel and spa. This is the sort of place you can feel alone yet be a few minutes out of Ubud. The value for money and facilities are great. Love the Spirit.

I loved my stay at the Bali Spirit. I stayed for 6 nights while teaching at The Ubud Yoga Centre which is located right across the river. Super convenient! The hotel staff is wonderful and the breakfast is super tasty. There are two beautiful pools and the grounds are lush and elegant. I recommend it highly and hope to return soon:-)

We stayed here for 7 nights. Every hotel has pro's and con's so i'm going to list you ours:
Pro's:
- very beautiful, quiet and spacious. Great place to stay as a couple.
- great value for your money
- breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks at reasonable prices. A beer is €1,70. Quality of the food is fine but not great. The pizza's are awesome.
- the pool is amazing, with pool bar and great views.
- great views from the balcony.
- great airco
- friendly and helpful staff and free shuttle service on schedule and if you want another time you pay €1,80 pp to although we rent a scooter.
(Also available at the hotel)
Con's:
- the steps, not a problem if you are in normal condition but if you aren't, this place is not recommended. Although it is the reason why this hotel is so beautiful.
- bathrooms are clean but a little bit outdated and need a renovation.
- because of the beautiful nature surrounding , there are a lot of insects at night but not in the rooms, only in the outside area's.
- bad wifi.
- the centre of ubud is not on walking distance but if you rent a scooter or go with the shuttle or cab it's a 10 min drive.
Overall: we had a great time. And we would recommend it if you are in normal condition.response / report this review -

Such a beautiful hotel. Feel like you are in the middle of a rainforest. Staff are super friendly, and pool is delightful with a swim up bar. Wood fired pizza served onsite was amazing! Also restaurant, had mei gorang and was delish.

Тут дуже гарно та затишно. Чудови краєвиди, поруч річка. Номер доволі великий, е кондиціонер, ТБ, холодильник. Смачні сніданки, але соки тут такі собі. Є басейн, парковка. Сподобалось, що є безкоштовний трансфер у місто, 4 чи 5 разів на день.

This resort was just perfect, a lot of stairs which go through nature. Not sure how to explain this atmosphere, but it was just amazing. Breakfast wss also really tasty, enough variety for our dutch mouths. If you want a cosy, in-nature, different resort, this is the place to go.

Beautiful hotel.
The main pool is a highlight.
Free shuttle on a time schedule into town.
Staff were friendly and attentive. We were there in low season so there did appear to be a little too many staff with a lack of things to do. Slightly disconcerting as you feel like you are being watched most of the time.response / report this review -
