I do not recommend this "hotel". Our room wasn't clean, the water from shower and sink didn't flow away, tiles were broken, "queen bad" = two beds joined together, hairdryer worked only once in the evening, a handle from a window kept in my hand. Walls and carpet were dirty. Shower hose was leaky. There is PAID parking in front of the hotel. You have to pay it from 8 AM to 6 PM but you can pay maximum for 4 hours. Breakfast was really poor and not tasty - the cheapest cheese , jam and juice, etc. There was no fruit or vegetable.

Lovely saff and is a great location only downfall is the breakfast but there are so many places that you can eat so it is all in all a very comfortable place to stay

Good price for the location, on a main boulevard. Not very close to the center, but close enough to that and the other objectives like Zoo, Botanical Garden etc. Several public transport means nearby.

It is an OK hotel, close enough to the City Center. Rooms are spacious and cleaned every day. Has a nice breakfast place on the sixth floor (top floor) with a nice view over the city. But, don't expect anything fancy. Our room had a problem with the drainage in the bathroom and a couple of spiderwebs in the corners. Nevertheless, it is functional and good enough if you only need a place to spend the night and some simple breakfast to get you going until noon. Several small shops around it, little space to park a car outside (no dedicated parking). Since it is close to the main street (Andrassy), you can also find some nice cafe to serve breakfast. Would choose again, but not for staying more than 3 nights.

This is a quaint, old-style European hotel. Rooms are nice and clean, beds need new mattresses badly. Bathroom is large, with shower, sink, toilet. No bath tub. Clean bathroom.
Room has a/c unit, which is needed, especially on the upper floors. Seems to work well, but is very loud. Also has a small TV, mirror, and wardrobe.
Location is a 5-7 min walk from the Octagon Metro Station, and close to many eateries. The House of Terror Museum is also about a block away.
Negatives All rooms have doors that face an interior open area. Walkways to the rooms are narrow, and if you do not enjoy heights, you should stay on a lower level. Only has one TINY elevator, which is slow and difficult to operate. Makes getting to the top floors a chore. 12 flights of stairs is a lot after walking around town all day.
Staff is friendly and helpful, which is what pulls it up to 3 stars.response / report this review -

It's defiantly not 3*!!! Old, little rooms, dirty air conditioner near your bed! It works very loud but without it it's impossible to stay at the room - too hot! Toilet smells so bad!!! There is mold in the shower and some dark hair. Refrigerator doesn't cool anything but heats the room, especially table and your staff on it though. Breakfast consist of eggs, sausages, cheese, milk, juice, toast, corn flakes, coffee, tea, water and jam. No fruits or vegetables at all! And it's smells bad il the yard. Location is pretty good, near the metro. But it doesn't cancel all drawbacks of this "hotel"! We'll never return here!

Quite spacious roomswe were provided with a cooler which was much needed. Very close to the city center. Located in a lively neighbourhood. And at very reasonable room rates.

Awful! Please consider before booking that the photos do not reflect the current state of the facilities in this "Hotel", which will be better denominated as a "cheap Hostel". By entering a tiny, dark, outdated reception with a noise bathroom in front of the front desk, you will be asked to return your keys every time you leave the room. Moreover, you need to go through a outdoor hall to get the elevator that it is not connected to the reception or rooms (pic attached). Rooms are outdated, smaller that in pictures, dark and with little cleaning. On top of that, you will see a big sign suggesting that potential robberies might happen at your own expenses so "please do not leave any jewellery, laptop or money". To sum up, I cancelled the room and paid an unfair cancellation fee! Cheers!

Worst hotel I stayed in. The breakfast was uneatable, not even one vegetable, cold omlete, bad coffee. It was very noisy, not all floors belong to the hotel.

Great for solo on budget travellers. Very close to the city centre and well connected with the subway. Not recommended for a leisure trip though.

Rooms kinda sloppy and seemed unattented. Breakfast poor on options, but otherwise eatable - except for the coffee. Very friendly and helpful staff though - the third star is for the receptionist.
