Clean everywhere - rooms, public areas etc. Staff all incredibly friendly and helpful. Only downside was that the bathroom was minute but we didn't need it to be ginormous obviously just the door opened onto the toilet that's how small it was! Everything else ideal including the location (literally round the corner from both Xmas markets).

Stayed for a couple of nights in November and it was very pleasant. Great staff, nice and welcoming. Great location. Close to the subway and a lot of shops and restaurants. The only bad thing is the exhaust fan from the bathroom wich was SO LOUD and it would still keep going for almost 5 minutes after you turn off the lights and close the door. So bathroom in the night was kinda horrible. They were renovating some areas of the hotel, so during the day there was some construction noise too, but not so loud.

Great location in the main shopping district and during November when we visited just down the road from the Christmas Market. Ruin Bars in the Jewish quarter are about 15 mins walk. The room was modern if a little small but ideal for a short break. Our only issue was the cleaning staff not doing as good a job as you'd expect, cups not cleaned, tea not replaced, etc. Receptions staff and checking in very good with no complaints.

Excellent location. In the middle of the cobbled streets shopping area, with all the designer brands. Lots of restaurants, short walk to all the sights and Danube river. Beautiful refurbished standard room with rainfall shower. Good buffet breakfast. Will definitely stay again.

Lumpy pillows. Very average rooms.
EDIT: I am still in the hotel, and surprised by the very prompt feedback! I did ask, and was told that there is only one type of pillow.

Cons:
Tired decor.
Not awful, but not sparklingly clean. There is a mark on the wall in my room (coffee? Blood? Which was here when I arrived and has not been removed.), toilet is slightly smelly, dusty marks on carpet.
Expensive
Expensive bar and mini bar
Small shower which has a shower control which pokes into the available space and jabs you. I have yet to manage to shower without soaking the bathroom
No shower cap provided
TV remote did not work

Clean rooms, good location and friendly staff. At the same time slowest internet you can think of and loud air conditioning. Skip the paid breakfast and go to the cerano cafe for an amazing meal!

The location is the best! Right in the middle of Vaci Uca . The hotel is modern, buetifull rooms, great breakfast and very nice stuff.

Not the best hotel I've stayed at, but far from the worst. The breakfast was a bit disappointing and the coffee terrible (but the latter goes for the entire Budapest).
