Boutique seems a bit misleading to us, we found the reception staff very helpful but the hotel is really just an inexpensive city break hotel. It's functional but in no way any different from hundreds of others. Breakfast is cold meats, cheeses, fruit etc with some hot selection of egg and sausage. It's a cafeteria style restaurant but very cramped. We opted for the upgraded bedroom which gave us a bath and a 'complimentary' bottle of white wine that we found to be virtually undrinkable. It rained the first night and the noise of the rain on the metal window sill was such that we were reduced to putting towels on the sill to dampen down the noise. There was no soap in our soap dispensers and there was still none when we returned from a day out despite having requested replacement earlier in the day. Overall for two nights it was average.

Good location, close to Metro station and train station. Room was a little smaller than expected but the beds were nice enough. The shower was very nice and the bathroom, despite being pretty small, was also nice. The staff on reception were very friendly and helpful.

A bit out of the way but very close to bus & metro. Rooms on the small side but clean. Aircon in the room Didn't seem to work. Breakfast was good and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Just across the road from Keleti station in Budapest, this hotel is very neat and tidy and serves a good buffet breakfast. Staff are all very helpful and friendly. Its location provides access to the Metro station, tram lines and bus system as well. Many fast food places around and some pubs..

Tacky and uncomfortable. The idea that it has Four Stars is laughable. Beds like breeze blocks and sheets like sandpaper. On the positive side the receptionist was delightful, it is very well situated and looks rather nice from the outside. Horribly lit interiors and the cheapest of finishes to each element from polyester curtains to sheeny pillowcases. Avoid it unless it is a cheap deal. It makes Travelodge look like sophistication.

Definitely more of a 3star hotel than 4star. Very basic rooms, we had a terrible view. Staff are very accommodating and got us extra pillows and towels on request. Breakfast was average, I assume traditional Hungarian dishes which was nice.

Fantastic value, around a 25 minute walk to the city centre. A metro station within 100 m and main tram station within 100m. Clean, very friendly staff, good continental breakfast. A perfect place from which to explore Budapest.

The hotel is very close to Keleti train station.
Our first night there we arrived after a 12 hour train ride to find that we didn't have a room. They did take care of us and book us the night at another comparable hotel. They paid the taxi charge. I am glad I asked the front desk lady to write down the name of the hotel because our taxi driver tried to drop us off in the middle of no where. I googled the hotel and got the address for him. He then took us to the new hotel.
The hotel we ended up in was TOO Hot to sleep! In the morning we had top pack up again and taxi back to the Royal Park. What a pain in the butt. We missed our reservation at the parliament house moving hotels.
They offered us a room upgrade. I was expecting something grand. Really all it was a coffee machine. The room was still small and plain.
Then AC hardly worked so we had to have the window open. The street below was VERY Loud! All night long. We barely slept.response / report this review
